yeah, unfortunately all i can find from that set are a bunch of crappy youtube videos. I think you are the one who originally clued me in to this track actually?

snowbomb.mp3 is one of my fav unreleased tracks, 3 notes con was until it was realeased, and the afxbuggery one. But my most favorite unreleased one is not any of these tracks.

sounds like a progression from quaristice which could be a good thing, but then again, i didn't really like the direction quaristice was going in half the time. So perhaps a bad thing. I kind of have a feeling this is similar to quaristice in the sense that it is a collection of jams. Just whittled down, in a similar obsession. Playing with sequencing in a certain way, using a bunch of fm synths, lots of reverb. Just another extension of expression, like it or not. I'd welcome this album if I knew autechre would start releasing 3 albums a year, but i doubt they are, i know i'm going to have to wait another 2 years for another proper release. Thats what dissapoints me. I'm just not that into this album.

Apparently those lastfm pages could be glitches and could be incorrect. What would be correct is the space in time between each scrobble, it could be that ilanders is 10 mins
yeah, but where in the scrobble does it show 10 between ilanders and another track, I see 5 minutes.

A lot of the tracks just sound like 2 or 3 FM patches playing on some lame scale where the parameters of note generation are changed over time. Just a few computer sequencers set up sending midi out to a some fm synths with a reverb or 2 on the send channel. Some of them are more sophisticated than that, but yeah. Similar mastering to quaristice, listen to this and then listen to something like cfern on confield. I miss old autechre but at least they are doing something a little bit more cohesive and different than usual.

I really really don't like the melodies in this, besides the second track(at least so far, i'm 22 minutes in). I have a hard time believing this is autechre. This plinky shit is somewhat annoying, and just the choice of melodies, reminds me of my dissapointment with the campfire headphase. Although I was never a huge fan of older autechre records. Sounds like a movie soundtrack.

wow, that second track on the leak is awesome. Sounds like something off of tri repetae with the fat synth but with new maturity.

i think it has about 4. if you had the cd you'd know it comes with like 4 or 5 different covers printed on separate pieces of card. i don't know if this is the same with the vinyl version.
vinyl does too. Can't check right now because it is at my parents house. But there is the outside cover and then the two cardboard sleves inside. are full on artwork as well. the outside case is a big folder the folds out to reveal artwork inside too.

yeah, you're the one that got me obsessed with that track. It was in the bloc 09 thread. He also played it at warp20 paris, which I think is the most complete/best quality version of it.
