  1. Around 20% here. I can wait, I could wait until March even.
  2. where did you find that? the timing is ridiculous. a couple of minutes after the "first official" broadcast it just so leaks. He's been holding out!
  3. Your first time too? Everything's going to be all right.
  4. Are these expletives from joy or anger (I can't remember if you were a NO LEAKS FOR ME guy). Either way, fucking awesome, I'm going to get this and I'm still going to buy the disk because I buy everything Autechre I possibly can. =D
  5. I think it was another thread I said it in, but I'd expect they'd need at least some percussion to keep their live sets entertaining their audiences, unless they want everyone to just sit there and be pensive with ambient stuff or appreciate it. I agree though, listening to the live stuff paired with this album will be VERY interesting unless some of the tracks have a lot of interesting sort of beats.
  6. Here, I took out all traces of that guy's voice (it annoyed me, all airy). Though the ending doesn't fade as nicely as he started talking over it. http://www.mediafire.com/?yjrzokzlwzj
  7. I attribute LP5 and EP7 for getting me into Autechre at all, so this all makes me very happy. "ilanders" sounds wonderful!
  8. Alright, thanks. So far, I'm really psyched for this. see on see sounds wonderfully ambient with a lot of nice reverb effects on it and the melody is great. I have yet to listen to the sample of ilanders.
  9. I'm doing a good re-recording of see on see without the guy's voice in it, nor any trace of it. I'll put it up here when I'm done. Did anyone get the full "ilanders" track? That'd be fantastic if so, if not, oh well, haha... >_<
  10. They're playing more? Fuck, I closed it. I'm expecting someone to record it, please. :( Thank you for "see on see," sir. Very very appreciated.
  11. Panz0r is. We all love him very much for it. This is pretty as hell. see on see YES
  12. Wait, this melodic stuff I'm hearing is Autechre? I think I'm going to fucking explode, so happy. Oh god, I want to know the track name.
  13. I'm really looking forward to the hopeful recording of new Autechre stuff. When does the show end so I know when to be disappointed that it didn't get played?
  14. Whenever I think of Amber, Foil, Piezo, Slip, and Nine come to mind. All of which are great. I'm convinced Autechre can't do anything bad, even if they made pop music it'd be good. I think I'm about to hit mindless fanboy status.
  15. I would really like an album of stuff like fol3, Rale, WNSN, Theswere, Outh9x, Steels, Drane2, Rae... All of which I'd consider fairly ambient in nature (or soundscape orientated). I'd be really happy actually, even though I love æ's beat driven stuff. I mean, in order to do proper live music, won't they need a fair amount of beats so as to get the spectators into it and not all just sitting there being pensive?
  16. that will be quite the interesting read in Big Shot magazine issue 31.. i wonder when it will be published! (it's the full length review of this preview) Please do link once it is published, assuming it's online (right?).
  17. Ae or AFX would be the best, followed by a tie between Plaid and BoC. This is only if the AFX release has the Manchester track on it.
  18. Yeah, I really appreciated those samplers that were up for Totems Flare before it came out. I also like the samples that Planet-Mu puts on its website for releases both out and upcoming. It's like, sure you can download it, but you're getting poor quality and only a fraction of the track lengthwise. The mayhem that ensued from the Rephlex update was proof that doing shit like that works. Just do the digital release with "physical release to come." I would be so much more inclined to pre-order the Oversteps LPs than I already am if I could just have the WAV files right now to listen to while I wait to get some awesome vinyls.
  19. Hah yeah people underestimate Snares versatility no doubt. gotta admit I actually think the one track you posted there is enjoyable. I tried some of his music but hated it. are there more VS ambient tunes? His only ambient album is My Downfall (Original Soundtrack). He has a few classical/Hungarian tracks on Rossz csillag alatt született that I fancy. I agree, some of his music is a bit too aggressive for my taste. Particularly his earlier stuff. However I do like his recent album Detrimentalist, because it's much more structured. There's also "P" from Cavalcade and "Aaron" from Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding for his ambient stuff.
  20. Making Orange Things. But really, I quite like the SAWs and Boards of Canada's ambient stuff. Proem has some nice ambient stuff too.
