Really glad to have uploaded most of this on release. Walked through most of it a few days ago and it definitely still holds up as a great EP, I think in retrospect I still enjoyed it more than Oversteps, but understand it was through a different lens of the same material.
Etchogon-S is a masterpiece.

I wanted to add that a local semiconductor wafer manufacturer used to use the same font that Autechre did for the ae stuff, but they've since changed it since they got bought out by a bigger megacorp.

I'm really liking the art for this one.

There was a bunch of non-album tracks he gave out on his website as part of the Monthly Joint series around Foley Room era, some of those were bangers...
Thanks for sharing this.

I love ISAM and also love Out From Out Where. Those are probably my top two.
Harsh crowd.

Wonderful news.

My lord New Chair is lush as fook
Right out.
I guess the vinyl preorder on bleep doesn't come with downloads? What? :(

That first bit in the preview is beautiful, gives me all kind of great vibes.
Chris' music is always so playful. Like, I hope it isn't rude, while a lot of it really blends together for me, it's also solidly nice to listen through. I had "Morgue Party Time" in my car for ages, once I got one that had a CD player.

This reminds me a lot of Decomposure's stuff. I like both.
Also, I think Faceshopping is a pretty great track.

This thread coming to life got me super excited. He's released some of my favorite music that I've ever heard, if only because the small quantity makes it so precious.

Revoke my iddems card; I only just started seriously listening to Exai. Been playing it on long drives between cities! An immense work that I am still coming to grips with but 'Jatevee C', ho-ly shit... has Autechre ever sounded lusher than this?! I was driving through SF blaring this shit out my car window (looking for knowing nods from fellow autists on the street/in adjacent vehicles). Also, Bladelores... Right from the intro you know this is gonna be next-level shit. It actually reminds me of Jacquard Causeway in terms of the gradual pad build-up and clunking beat structure. The second disc I am barely scratching the surface on.
Once I have thoroughly imprinted this in my brain... time for Live sets and elseq!
I will keep your iddems card safe thanks
message me after you make it through elseq

I don't enjoy this as much as Persistence of Vision.
There, I've said it now.
They are both fantastic albums.
The physical artwork on Persistence of Vision is amazing.

He was pretty good live when I saw him during the Plaid tour.
I don't know half the tracks he played though, would have liked to figure out his set list since some of them were quite good.

Ranch based pizzas
Working at pizza places for almost 6 years taught me a lot

Subways is really good. I'm in agreement with a friend that every new track shown has been better than the previously aired one.

Official youtube link for those interested and if the other isn't working:

Shoutouts to Terminal 11. Dude makes good tunes.

Can't say I loved "Frankie Sinatra" either, but it might work a lot better in the context of the rest of the album; "Since I Left You" is a great album to listen to all the way through. Hopefully the new one is too, but if it isn't I won't be crushed. No point in being negative about it before I can hear all of it.

Flesh Without Blood was good, though quite a contrast from my previous two hours spent with Beatwife.
I like that it, the video and music, are still very decidedly her without being the same thing as previously. I look forward to hearing the whole album when it comes out.

i mean, this isn't "one of the most unimaginative 303/acid riffs i've heard in a very long time", this is the single worst one I've ever heard by far
it sounds like the kind of 303 acid line that would accompany a Wikipedia article entry as a user submitted example
lol

Always excited for more stuff by Joseph Fraioli.

I absolutely love vekoS and tac Lacora.

I pretty much consider Adrian's discography to great. If I was forced I might actually say Midnight Section is his most solid release. I do like TROG more that PoV but I love both to death. PoV is more danceable.
Isn't Adrian his brother and White Mask?Never mind, it's Kris. No idea why I never thought Ade was short for Adrian. Either way, I'm still really sad that he (Kris) took a lot of his stuff off of Soundcloud. I used to go there occasionally to relisten to some of it, all of which was great.https://soundcloud.com/white-mask
Also, VHS Head put this on his facebook. http://vimeo.com/105933942

This one I will give a listen tomorrow - still very new to VHS head. I think I've heard maybe two trax by him altogether so far.
You're in for a fun time.
yeah and it is better than POV by a long shot - sorry
yeah, only a couple of memorable songs on POV. i tried really hard to get into the album, but there wasn't enough going on for me. oh well. not the first sophomore album that's disappointed me.
I didn't find much of it memorable on the first few listens, but it's grown on me a whole ton, as have his one-off tracks from compilations. Don't Look in the Closet, Gas Human No.1, Red Ocean Apocalypse, and Angels Never Sleep are pretty memorable for me. To be fair, across all his works, a lot of his tracks bleed into memories of others for me, and I think it's a bit endearing at times.

A coworker and I have been swapping albums. He first gave me Hans-Peter Lindstrom's "Smalhans" (great album), so I gave him EP7. He told me it gave him anxiety, but in a good way.
