  1. That would be lovely... we don't even live together right now... opposite sides of the city... it's annoying as shit, but we are stuck in our currently leases for the moment.
  2. Well to be fair, my room is pretty damn small.
  3. I'm glad you guys like it! My girlfriend was a little less thrilled, as it took away an extra foot of space from the room. My explanation of ergonomics didn't seem to sway her.
  4. Changed the setup. This is the most ergonomic yet. I can reach and play everything comfortably by merely swiveling my chair.
  5. Well, I got the Olympus LS-11 US They didn't have much of a selection... but I needed the recorder for my show tomorrow. There is a 60 day return policy though, so if I don't like it, Ill return it, and reconsider. I'll let you guys know what I think...
  6. Hmm looks like there is a cheaper Sony ... The PCM m10. Good reviews online....
  7. I need a digital recorder, and I was just going to go with the maudio microtrack, but apparently that has been discontinued. I need something in the same price range, with a stereo in port. Any recommendations watmm? I'd love a Sony PCM dm50, but that's too expensive...
  8. is omnisphere a rompler? all the press ive read about it makes it sound like a deep synthesizer?
  9. When I just got into making music in highschool, I heard about these, and in my mind it was the holy grail of equipment. Mind you all of my sounds were just coming from the general midi soundcard on a shit pc. i played with one of these in a store, and was blown away. then i discovered synthesizers, and my focus shifted. i dont think if have a use for one now, but it brings back lovely memories of visiting music shops and lusting over the (at the time) very expensive gear.
  10. hm? tell me more...

    knives

When I was a teenager, I collected knives. Not fancy ones, just ones that I thought looked cool. I don't collect them any more, but I do cary a little folding knife in my pocket. Useful in so many situations, but mainly I use it at work, opening boxes, etc. Much easier to just have a tiny knife in my pocket, than to have to always ask "where did the box cutters go?"
  14. my incense burner.
  15. a little ergonomic tweak. and a yoga ball chair.
  16. irl lol I know, right? I suspect that that's how most people experience highschool though... Projecting one thing buy feeling the opposite. All the people you thought were cool and had it together were usually the most effed up!
  17. My crippling panic attacks kept me from talking to most people. I would later find out that this came off as confident and cool. There was a mystery to me. Little did they all know...
  18. Yeah! The first time I saw it was at an mc Escher exhibit in Rome... My jaw hit the floor. I was super psyched to see they had a print in the gift shop!
  19. Autostitch - works a treat, as they say. pc only :( but I did just dl the iphone version. results are decent.
  20. I lived for 2+ years in a room where the window was in a cutout of the building... my window looked into our kitchen window... so for any privacy from my nightmare roommates, was to keep my blinds closed. it was like living in a cave for 2 years, and the most claustrophobic ive ever felt in a place. I vowed to only move into a room with bay windows after that! mc eschers metamorphose 2. its given me more ideas for music than I can list!
  21. normal shot: panorama 1: panorama 2: I used some trial software for the panorama shots, hence the dividing lines... if I pay, those wouldn't be there. but meh.
  22. i just moved into an awesome new apartment! I'll post a new pic soon, once all the choas of moving is cleared up. This is my best setup so for... it's how I've wanted to set it up for a long time, but didnt have the right space/dimensions in my old room. Yay!
  23. my setup in the dark!
