  1. how about a new rule... only post pictures of your studio SPACES. I want to see where people get creative... their zone. We could list gear/plugins, and most of us know what that is... no need to do close ups... I want to just see the workspace that you guys create in, more than anything... your ambiance.
  2. I dunno.... I tried an axiom pro at guitar center, and it felt like a horribly cheap piece of crap. plasticy, sticky knobs/sliders... uninspiring keys. all of it just felt awful.
  3. just saw your other post about saving to buy a G2. your sins have been absolved.
  4. there is a special place in hell for people that sell their nord modulars.
  5. Yeah... After last nights jam out, I realized I couldn't part with it... Too sick sounding
  6. there is a large part of me that wants to sell my virus TI for one of these... I just don't know. That would free up my nords for synth sounds.... but I still would want a bread and butter synth. I've just had a fair share of bugs with the TI, which makes me frustrated enough to consider it... even though it does sound stupidly awesome.
  7. god dammit [youtubehd]Y74vdIl4R8c[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]tZF2w9aU32U[/youtubehd] [youtubehd]zshvf8slc5s[/youtubehd]
  8. how many CCs can you control/lock sequencer with the mono machine? can't the MD sequencer the same amount of external channels?
  9. interesting... so you don't like the synthesis engine then? The flexibility/options, or just the characteristic sound? I have 2 G2 modulars, and I've been making some homemade drum machines on them. My sound options are much more flexible, I'm sure, but the 4 slots, and 8 variations leave a lot to be desired for variety of patterns/preset switching.. I'm also surprised no one has tried to mimic/ripoff the MD workflow...
  10. *listens to samples of futureimage* god dammit *looks at kidney* I could sell you
  11. The latest incarnation. I have a serious ergonomics obsession... I want everything to be easy accessible, right in front of me, so I never have to move positions... obviously this isn't realistic, so I end up constantly changing my setup, depending on my current workflow habits. What I really want to do, is invest in a mobile setup, and make it my default studio setup as well... basically like a custom DJ coffin, that fits all my stuff, so I can pretty much just show up to a gig, open it, and play... and I'd make that my home set up as well, so it's a setup that is consistent and comfortable to me. I don't dig the whole trend of electronic musicians just sprawling their gear on a coffee table at gigs... too chaotic... and there's no way my 6'4 ass is going to bend over for an entire set. Unfortunately I have no money to invest in that kind of set up right now... so for now I dream.
  12. lol, I'd love to see you try to take that to the airport.
  13. this is the hardest watmm has made me laugh in some time. total win.
  14. doesn't need another facebook

  15. got the akai with some christmas money, and a table to put it on.
  16. Grats man! You will love it. I haven't used any other synth since I got my Polar. its already completely changed my workflow for the better. it sounds amazing, its fun to use, and seamlessly integrates into Logic. im actually kind of kicking myself for not getting one sooner. I love my nords to death, cause I can do all sorts of stuff with them, but the virus is now my workhorse synth, and the G2s are for specialty stuff
  17. nobody noticed :(
  18. I'm totally investing in a stand for doing live shows. its retarded how often I see people given short ass tables, and have to bend over. I'm 6'5... my back would be dead in like 5 minutes.
