  1. LOL DWS was booed off stage by an overwhelming chanting of "Shame", GoT style.
  2. I turned on my MD last night to check this, and then ended up just playing with it for 2 hours. Forgot to check, sorry :( Maybe it's only MID machines that it doesn't affect? I'll try to remember tonight!
  3. I could have sworn that the func+knob action ignored midi and input tracks... I'll have to try that again tonight

    Yes please and thank you
  9. Sculpture is all synth, except for the instrument body convolution. Robbie: do you use any of the AAS plugins? Chromaphone is one of my favorite plugins. Also speaking of PM, I picked up pianoteq, and damn does that sound and feel good to play.
  10. I've been watching this since the first announcement... Very intrigued... I'll wait until it's out for awhile and thourough reviews are done.
  11. Specifically I want step retriggers, per track pattern length, ability to switch patterns mid pattern, and the performance scenes.
  12. There is no 3... I want there to be a 3, with the Rytm's sequencer
  13. After having borrowed the Rytm for a couple of weeks, I've concluded that the MD needs an mk3 model. The sequencer and performance stuff on the Rytm are great, but I prefer the machines on the MD over the analog and sample voices of the Rytm. Also annoyed that the Rytm doesn't do external midi sequencing. I have the mk1 version and have been wanting to upgrade to the mkii but I think I'll wait. really hoping Elektron has plans for this...
  14. Fwiw I'm not big on physical CDs these days, but that is some nice artwork for the digi pack... I'd buy a poster for sure.
  15. I know you said you weren't interested in code based answers, but I have to say, Logic Pro X Scripter is extremely powerful and fun, and it is abstracted just enough to be fairly approachable, if you have a general knowledge of JavaScript. Basically, your imagination is the limit.

  17. i like that response a lot Thank you, I missed that response. To Sean and Rob: I cannot thank you enough for doing this. To Joyrex: ditto!
  18. A commitment to support their editor software even after the unit goes out of production?
  19. Have you guys checked out the Logic Pro X Scripter MIDI plugin? You can use JavaScript to build MIDI processors... You can do some wild stuff with it. I assume you guys are all set with Max though.
  20. I would like to reiterate the question about your thoughts on physical modeling. Most people I discuss this with shrug it off as being too limiting, as it is an attempt to emulate realistic acoustic instruments, however I find that when pushing the limits of a physical modeling synth, you can get fantastic other worldly results. How much have you used physical modeling in your music?
  21. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on physical modeling as well.
  22. Wait, if you don't think he was a replicant then what is your explanation for the Unicorn?
