Well, the comic was written probably around the same time 28 Days Later came out, but was released the next year.... The writing in the comic is much better than in the film 28DL, imo.... and the series looks to be a lot like the comic.... I am excited not only for the first zombie television show, but one of the only horror tv shows in recent memory, a genre that is being severely neglected by the zombie-like Hollywood entertainment industry....

Scorn started it with the crazy basslines with Greetings From Birmingham and other d'n'b producers.... Vex'd, Search and Destroy, Hawerchuck, Milanese, Soundproof Productions, Benga all did these kind of basslines early on..... what you like, and we have talked about this, is the more idm sounding 'dubstep', so do I.... but don't bitch at me because I enjoy the old formula as well as the new sounds coming out... anyways.......... I think you are acting all high and mighty and I hate that shit... I know just as much music as you do and we should respect each other for that fact.... Just because there are more aggressive forms of music and I enjoy some of them doesn't make me a macho idiot, chicks certainly dig this stuff as well and some of it is well produced.... Dubstep is Loefah and everything that followed are derivations, innovations, and change... Being able to adapt is a good quality, Autopilot, and not pushing your beliefs onto others is as well... These are awesome! Fuck what these haters say....didn't Coki help to bring dubstep into being? So why can't he make it into whatever he wants? Stop calling what you listen to dubstep Wes! You want idm, you make it, and the dubstep you listen to is basically idm.... I just put a lot of the more dancy "dubstep" into my idm folder....it is no longer dubstep to me. Crazy basslines and two step rhythms is what it was always about and at least "brostep" is sticking to that credo. ok, The Shining is the only legitimately great King-based film but I enjoyed the Mist more than most horror films.... The TV version of the Stand is one of the worst things you could ever watch, worse than Troll 2 imo, making it inadvertently hilarious.... Pet Sematary is just a terrible story....but another comedic winner on film!

The Mist has Cthonic monsters eating people....
