  1. Agree with Lord Of The Ooze. Just played this track after a few weeks rest. It's fucking crazy! It's easy peasy a 9/10 track.

Without even breaking into a sweat mate!

skimmed those tracks and they sound like music for an off brand VR headset advertisement

Sure there is probably some good stuff on the album, though. I still listen to his Morning/Evening album, some beautiful music and nice drum programming on there.

    Morning/Evening is a classic (imo)

I think they're saying that because he's been hanging out with two more popular musicians (Fred Again and Skrillex) so he gained a bunch of new zoomer fans.

Hopefully they put a rocket up his ass (ha thats not a sexual reference!) and kicked him into gear a bit. Four Tet can play it very safe. Having said that Fred Again ain't exacty Death Grips is he. I have no idea what Skrillex is up to nowadays. Not that I ever did.

  4. Always listen to new Four Tet. Agree he is hit and miss and sometimes a bit too middle of the road, but he does know how to put a tune together. March is a good time to him to release as his music definitely has a Springtime vibe going on. Looking forward to this.

  5. I agree it's a strange track. I remember quite vividly when it came on the live stream, the fact I remember myself reacting to it (having a knee jerk reaction, ears pricking up and thinking hmmm what's this all about) all these years later probably says a lot. I do remember then, and still now feeling relief when the cooling synth whooshes come in during the second half. Yeah weird tune, but I like it.

  6. I'm currently in TV purgatory. I cancelled my Amazon Prime subscription as I've wanged a bit of cash on my credit card for some essential fishing gear and need to clear that asap, they of course in turn then cancelled my cheap Paramount+ subscription which I got through Amazon. So Deadwood remains unfinished, which sucks, but I'll go back and finish it when I have time to wang out all 3 seasons in a month which will be hopefully soon. I've been looking for something that's free (or relatively cheap) to watch and found Americans on Channel 4 (My4) which is a couple of quid a month for advert free. So far only watched a few episodes.

ha I finally picked up watching Bosch again. I stopped after S1 because it sucked. I recently got through season 2, which I thought was great! I just started S3 and oh no, it seems to have retreated back into the shit quality of S1. I see you say it picks up again in S4. I hope I can make it through to that.

I don't think I finished all seasons. It was an okay watch, though certainly nothing special.

  8. It's the ghost of Dead Geoff. My best friend growing up was Christopher and his dad was a notorious drunk, he was a sexist, homophobic, racist drunk pig. One day we were sitting watching John Wilson Goes Fishing and Geoff came in swerving about after probably consuming a bottle of vodka for breakfast and he started ranting and raving at the television and at Mr Wilson who was sat on a boat on quiet English estate lake. Yeah look at him on a boat! Thinks he's fucking special does he!  I'll knock him out! Posh bastard! Come on!!  On and on he went. I thought it was, and obviously still do, one of the most bizarre and sad things I've ever seen. How can you get angry at a man on a boat fishing for tench? And so it is, all these decades later, sometimes I do a  Dead Geoff. It's not me, it's actually me impersonating Dead Geoff. Of course I don't explain all this before hand so things can get a bit tricky. I thought I would explain this (I have done before a few years ago). Ahh yes I call him Dead Geoff because after years of being treated as a servant and skivvy his wife Jackie left him (you should of heard what he thought of women...) Geoff ended up slitting his wrists and committing suicide. Thankfully Christopher found the shotgun he had in the boot of his car and took it to the police station, saying he found it in the woods or something like that. Or perhaps there was a amnesty or something like that. The world is probably a better place now Dead Geoff isn't with us, however on odd occasions when the moonshine is full and glowing so his spirit sometimes possesses me and he rises like a full moon and the wolf.

Have a nice day and I hope you enjoy the Eurovision Song Contest!

    (how's that for an apology)

  9. Maybe let youngsters (if any come to watmm) who are under 16 view for free. Anyone over that age has to pay. If you are over 16 you should be able to find some cash from somewhere, if you not? Ask mummy and daddy for a pocket money pay rise. Or stop drinking cans of craft ale for £6 a can. Or suck your gay uncles cock, I'm sure he will give you a fiver. Hope that helps.

  10. Not a bad idea really. This is one of those bands that were famous for a couple of huge tracks which everyone my age knows. Those tracks quite possibly are their most crap (because they were in the pop charts and therefore not so great) and they have a few albums that are stuffed full of tunes that are totally off the hook that have been gathering dust for decades. Good shout. Will check OMD out.

I love this! Great news, and great track. I always get back into Squarepusher in January for some reason.

Spring for me, Hard Normal Daddy is so perfect for April when the weather is slightly improving and nature coming back to life.

  12. Is Mr Jenkinson aware that his fans would dearly love those archive tracks?? Can someone tell him? Maybe he's saving them for a Warp anniversary release or something. Just too good to be gathering dust.

Don't forget folks it's in April that the world has to stop and think about Holocaust Remembrance Day 👍

Weirdly enough it was a few days ago. Blinked and you would have missed it. It was reported on BBC bitesize. Usually there's a huge fanfare and the whole wide world has to stop and feel sorry for them. Don't get me wrong, you know I'm no Nazi sympathiser, I could never be that because all my grand parents would turn in their grave if I was. Just the constant BS of one massive bunch of cunts complaining about another massive bunch of cunts and using it as a mechanism for years to thwart any criticism of them does my head in. Hypocrisy on a criminal level.
