  1. Ref: multitude of meme's....

Its just a bit of fun in an otherwise shit world whilst we wait for a new album from some electronic music legends!

    Ref:- the artwork....

Maybe they know it looks like the money supermarket logo, and they are trollin'

    But I quite like it.

  2. Wish they hadn't revealed the worm at the end there.

Nevermind, looks fun.  Might make my first 2020 trip to the cinema for this (unless we are back in lockdown again...)

I hope the dialogue is clear - seems to be a problem lately (Tenet had bad reviews because of the audio mixing)

This meme culture now kinda sucks, I know banter and all that, but imagine long-time music artists creating serious stuff just to see 300 memes about it, not cool. I'm expecting a serious transition from idiotic memes into forum jizzing how awesome the SIGN material is, really wish them to see that.

  4. Last month i finally cracked and bought myself a tape player.  After being outbid on ebay a bunch of times by people going crazy for Walkmans and the like, I opted for one of those new tape to USB players as found on Amazon for about £20.

So now i can finally listen to the tapes that were sent to me for review when I was doing my zine! And I must admit I have purchased a couple of new tapes.

I have a new routine where I go for an evening walk to listen to a tape and leave my phone at home. Its nice.

That's crazy that you make your own instruments, man. Hopefully one day I'll be doing something similar.

I just listened to Spyrimba. After reading your post on how you made this track, I was expecting this to sound a lot more free form and experimental. It was a really pleasant surprise to hear that it came out much more traditional (or primal?) than I thought it would. (That said, I do have a soft spot for bell-tone-ish sounds.) It has a very playful feel to it that I thought was infectious and inviting. Kind of like a playful drug-fueled tribal dance circle on some uncharted island somewhere or something. I don't really know what I'm talking about. Anyways, thanks for sharing, dude.

    Thank you for listening.

Yes, I have been listening to a lot of primal / ritual style music lately.  My next EP is about an ancient forest near where I live, and all sorts of stories surround pre-christian rituals that used to happen there... I am really glad that sort of sound is coming through!

    Cheers

Yes, this was already in the thread and it doesn't make much sense. Sign CD is 2420 JPY in Japan which is roughly 19.26€. CD albums are 21€ in Finland. Why I'm not getting an extra track?

Guessing they will shift a lot more units in Japan than Finland... How big is the finish IDM fan base?

My spidey senses are tingling on this one .... I'd be wary of anyone spending money on this place - Can't see why Warp would whack stuff on a third party place when they have a digital store already

    Agreed. Looks dodge.

    By the powers of deduction....

Side "A" is the only side with 2 tracks on, so that is shown on the left in this photo.

Track 1 M4 Lema has an ambient intro / outro.

Track 2, which is "F7" looks to me like a beatless / ambient track.

I presume the record on the right of the photo is Side "C" judging by the track lengths.
