I listened once but didn't really feel it, which is weird because I usually love dubby techno house vibes. Will give it another swing by.

I like the look of the new 0-coast controller, the 0-ctrl, but that would mean I need to buy an 0-coast as well...... I guess its compatible with any other CV controllable stuff though.

It's always nice to see the Novation Bass Station amongst the gear of this caliber of musician. Seems universally adored.
I watched a fair bit of the Hacienda House Party 2 on Saturday, sets from Arthur Baker (with his kids playing in the garden behind him) and Graeme Park were ace.

Yes, very good. I liked DRUGS from a few years back. Was expecting the solo LORN to drop first, but this will do nicely

The latest issue of Northern Earth is a digital free download special, and can be found here
https://northernearth.wordpress.com/index/
An interesting blend of archaeology, folklore and history... serious work but interesting.
Also received issue 1 and 2 of Hellebore over the weekend, looking forward to diving in. Amazing art and design upon initial flick through!

Just watched Hellboy (2019).
Had been putting it off as it was fairly universally slated, but I quite enjoyed it. Dumb story with monsters and gore, but fun. Maybe slightly too long and it would have been good to see more of the hell creatures but it was fine. 7/10

I watched Noise Quest last night on Graham Dunning's Youtube page, and there was a live 45 minute jam performed using TidalCycles.
Its not Graham Dunning doing the coding, its Tamu Nkiwane

20 minute manipulated field recording.
Layers of bird song, aircraft, industrial sounds.... a bit of distortion and boost. Really happy with this one.
More new stuff coming soon.

Yeah interesting.
His bleepstore is still open.
Always keen to hear Clark's new output, although Clarence Park to Totems Flare is pretty much gold standard for me and my interest has dulled a bit since.

So wait, are we saying that COVID-19 begun with Alien weapons, and not a Chinaman eating illicit Pangolin flesh?

He did a set for Warp 30, so he must still be linked somewhere along the line.

Body count is slowly starting to drop here in the UK.
Have noticed an increase in traffic out on the roads this past week, and definitely more people out and about during the day. People are getting restless.
But I think the lockdown needs to carry on for another 3 weeks. No point throwing away the work that is already done.

The question is, do I really want to fork out upwards of £40 for a 12 track compilation of varied stuff... no matter how lush they sound and the marbled vinyl looks....
I have been happy to get stuff on vinyl if I think I can shoehorn tracks into a DJ set.... but these do not really fit into the DJ friendly category
I gotta think about what the next 6-12 months might have in store...
