well, the Wire said that his first album was the best lp released in 2006, i guess they'd have to say that this is the best album released in 2007, since it's better than his first ... i've been listening to 'shell of light' and 'raver' on repeat all day!

as good as expected ... 'raver' and 'archangel' are maybe the best tracks he's yet released

what annoyed me was how he babbled on about it, like making a fetish out of anonymity, which seems to me just as tedious as someone crassly seeking attention

i hated the spaceape track at first, but when i listen to the album all the way through it seems to fit

that's like driving a horse and buggy after cars are introduced ... the album comes out when it leaks, anyone who waits to listen until the physical object reaches a physical store is just being quaint, imo

i think the sig is too many pixels high, salads the cover art is alright, though not as good as the first album. and that description sounds pretty sweet
