  1. Time to give up the phone. Stick to a laptop and basic phone. Sod this always connected bollocks.
  2. The rave scene was pure shite. Remember that XL Chapter 2 Cd? That had the Rave is Rhythm track. I dont know bout you but im feeling alright! The Holy Noise track 'The Noise' had those big piano stabs that now sound so dated, the bleeps are alright tho.
  3. How about pancakes, maple syrup and bacon? Whats going on there Northern American friends?

    Now Reading

Where to start with Mieville? Ive read Kraken and one of his short story collections. Bloody hard work though his ghost story set in an Ikea children's play area was pretty deece bra (forum lingo last time i will use it.)
  5. where did you see this? http://metro.co.uk/2017/07/06/playstation-now-lets-you-play-ps4-games-on-your-pc-6760682/
  6. Either Gillian Taylforth is in the passenger seat or the driver is liking some sort of white supremacist rant on FB.
  7. Some people have been moaning about the price, I don't think Scorpio is aimed at these people. Some people are happy spending $500 on a new graphics card which is the same cost as a whole console capable of 4k gaming. Gonna be interesting. I haven't bought into this gen yet, too many FPS and as I am slightly older now, gaming is not the same, when I could be out walking, drinking tea, eating carrot cake or reading. I've got a capable laptop that can play games but yet to try it out fully.
  8. Sony today announced they were releasing their games on PC also. Seems the game companies want to open up the market. Wonder if we will ever see Sony or Microsoft release similar apps for rival consoles? Could happen, then it wouldn't matter which hardware you bought, standardise the games market like film and music.
  9. Pierre Henry - saw him a couple of years back play live in Montpellier, the girl I was with said it was the worst night of her life, like music from hell. So in his 80s he still had it!
  10. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2017-microsofts-xbox-one-x-benchmarks-revealed
  11. The Libertine The Earl of Rochester is here to sleep with your wife, drink all your wine then leave a poem on the kitchen table telling you he would never meaningfully hurt another human being. Apart from maybe living in Stroud nowadays, it's amazing how the behaviour in late 1600s Britain has carried on. Loved it.
  12. Ive never named a shit in my life! Thank you.
  13. Hot air stewards? Free tea? Free lifts? Did you arrive in Sweden? You gotta play to win. Play to win.
  14. Haemorrhoids warning, repeat this is a haemorrhoids warning!
  15. Thanks for the heads up about the book. Like Alan Dean Foster so will try to find it soon. Have you ever read any of the Jeter Blade Runner books? He is a British writer who was immortalised by Stuart Argabright in Black Rain... https://www.discogs.com/Black-Rain-Dark-Pool/release/6028571
  16. Saw Breaking the Waves - Heavy Metal soundtrack to a looong examination of Calvinism in remote Scotland. I could smell the whiskey with this one and it reminded me of the time I went to Holy Island in Northumberland and read about all the submissive women living there in the late 1800s. Has Watson ever made a bad film? I even liked her in Metroland. Next later tonight will watch Cold Fish - korean film from 2010.
