Viewtiful Joe (Bastard hard but worth it)l 2. Zelda Wind Waker 3. Zelda Twilight Princess 4. Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes 5. Starfox Adventures 6. Ikaruga (US or JP version) 7. Beyond Good and Evil (under rated and very very good) 8. Phantasy Star Online (not worth getting now as multiplayer has gone but deserves a mention) 9. Capcom Vs SNK 2 EO 10. Phantasy Star Online (desreves a mention but not worth getting now) As for Eternal Darkness, I've not played it myself, but I hear nothing but good things from those who have. Metroid (Sick sick game, god damn) Cap vs SNK 2 (Better on other systems) Sonic Mega Collection (Ullillillia bug ftw) Time Splitters 2 (good shooter, good single or multi) Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (MGS1 in the MGS2 engine, pretty fucking sick if you like MGS) Extreme-G 3 (Pretty decent racing game, soundtrack from Ministry of Sound) Hunter: The Reckoning (Fun game, better on xbox) I also have these but hardly play them: Chibi Robot (Boring after ten minutes) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (What a fucking jip, you have to have TWO game boy advances to play two player. Ok game though, different style of FF play - its not turn based.) Dragon Ball Z Budokai True Crime (so gay) Dead to Rights Tony Hawk 4 Enter the Matrix (Played it once and that was enough, would be better if it had better 2 player options) I really like the GC but there is a serious lack of games and the availability and price of the good ones is annoying. I just bought it as it was cheap and wanted a decent fighting game for the cube, which it is. As for the controls there are two types. There is a simplified setting available for the cube version, and, yes, the setting is shit. But that can be disabled for the normal control type. Guest Benedict Cumberbatch Posted June 17, 2009 Share Posted June 17, 2009 I'm buying a second hand gamecube tomorow for 25 euros, this thread has helped me speed up the decision. :) cheers yep yep fun cheap gaming. i got my system with 2 controllers for (& Need for speed underground 2) about $25 i think. bought about 10 games for between $5 min and $15 max each. sold some. so in total i've spent roughly $150 and i should be able to sell them for more than that as i usually get bargins. problem is i want to keep the games. Infact no other console has ever really beaten it for multiplayer fun. Really wish Sony would bring out more multiplayer games for the ps3 rather than simply focusing on online gaming and single player. Our favorites: 1. Super Monkey Ball 2 2. Timesplitters 2 3. The original engine was a bit clunky so this remake in the newer engine is slick because they brought over some of the newer features. Parts of it can be a bit frustrating your first time through but its solid. I think the best part about MSG is that the first time through takes awhile, solving all the puzzles and figuring out where to go.
