Dizzee's Gone Insane

Guest Gary C

his early/earlier stuff is very different - raw grimey bare shit blud

he has gotten progressively less describable as grime over the space of his career

i like dizzee's stuff, i love his voice

If the next track is as catchy as 'bonkerz' then i might actually become a fan, not just yet mind. I think the electro style direction seems pretty fresh in terms of uk hips hopss or however u might want to discribe it. Its gona get pawned tho.

it's as raw and minimal as balls

i wonder if it might be a bit dark to be a big single though, not that he gives a fuck, evidently

dizzee pinched the club crossover idea from wiley

The new wiley album is all crossover shit - guest producers on nearly every track. Arthur Baker and Hot Chip colabbos FTW

still loving the dizz tho. and both of them are still making grime. check out wileys "grime wave" mixtape and the dizz verse on the newham generals mixtape

when that song goes 'bonkers' yea, it sounds exactly like this other song that goes 'mars',

That's a decent track too, if you can make it past the shockingly bad intro.

the intro is actually a sample from a much earlier mouse on mars album, 'vulvaland', which i quite like despite the fact it sounds as dated as glenn medeiros.

I liked this enough before, but stoned it's an entirely different kettle of fish: it needs to be like three times longer.

Lest we forget! Terrible audio quality for some reason, but soooooo fucking good. I DJed this tune at every gig I had for a few years, it mixes really well with Tipper/Modeselektor type stuff.

Bonkers is fun enough, but nothing compared to this!

Dizzee has always been good boys, calm down. Like this one obviously but nearly every track on Boy in Da Corner is as good or better. Stop Dat, 2 Far, Jezebel, I Luv U etc etc....CLASSIC!
