The best optical illusion ever.

well, how bout the fact that black is actually all of the colours of our visible spectrum, not brown, BLACK

BOOM! blew yer mind

that's white, silly. black is just the absence of light.

Not really. If you're talking about paint, black is all of the colors together. If you're talking about light, then white is all of the colors together.

THIS is the best optical illusion ever

Thats how they filmed those scenes in LOTR when gandalf is in the hobbit's house.

The "blue" and "green" parts are actually the same color <-- this color. Really. Zoom in and look at the pixels.

this works in the same way that when you mix paints you get a different colour.

your eye is mixing the colours next to each other giving you the perception of blue and green.

cool trick.

This one freaks me out too -

Despite knowing that squares A and B are the same colour (and have known for about 5 years now), I still can't believe it ! Stupid eyes....

that one is excellent. it is so good that i thought you didn't know what the hell you were talking about. so i opened it in photoshop and used the color picker on the squares to be sure. :rhubear3::rhubear2::rhubear1:

haha i did the same thing! i was like :omg: WTF

Hmm, you may actually be green/blue colourblind

In the two below pictures can you follow the path of the line between the two x marks -

and/or try this test here - http://www.archimedes-lab.org/colorblindne...st.html#visione

(of course it could just be your monitor settings are off kilter !)

Good to know I'm still fucking colourblind
