Slough is host to the Biggest Tesco in all of the UK. I don't think the photos really do it justice. Some of the oldest traffic calming infrastructure in the UK. Datchet is nice though as it has flowers, grass, birds, trees and polite people who don't live in slums. Slough used to have a very good record shop (dance music/vinyl specialists) now that has gone I am struggling to think of one redeeming feature. Mmmmmm...Nope can't think of one. Slough is one of those few places where the city-centre Weatherspoons is full of old-timer "you're not from round these parts" barflys. There maybe a recession but at times I have been working 70 hours a week thats 30 hours a week overtime, and the choice is mine if I do it. I know a lot of people round Slough and nobody has ever been out of employment since leaving school, college or university. So it's not all bad.....
