Is the Banksy movie any good?

I've seen it mentioned in a few threads, and it's playing in my area. I'm not the biggest Banksy fan, but I'm looking to bring someone to a relatively "independent" film and this seems to be one of the best options out of what's playing now.

Would someone who isn't the biggest Banksy fan enjoy it, for what it is? Is it that good?

yeah it's not about banksy at all. he made it (apparently). its about the consumerism of street art. its really good and not in a pretentious way, in a good film way. very engrossing i didnt want it to end.

still not sure if its real or not though.

the street artists they feature are pretty boring so luckily its not really about them.

go see it

i used to follow banksys works and had much curiosity as to how he managed to put up so many powerful pieces, all across the world, yet continuously get away with it, until i was told that he had a group of professional street artist working under his wing, travelling the world for him. is there any truth to this? it seemed too obvious when i first heard it, and it really sucked away a lot of the banksy mystery that drew me to his work in the first place.

i'd like to know this guys living situations, to see how loaded (wealthy) he really is, or if he's still "keeping it real" and not letting his money accumulate in some private bank account...

I liked it a lot. Still thinking about it a month a later. I wouldn't be surprised if Banksy has a global network of artists. Makes sense, especially in light of this film. Make decent art and then develop a mystique. The masses will soon follow.
