I just couldn't config my utorrent to share the damn stuff. I can get an invite anytime tho. Other than that i just use piratebay and always upload more than what i download. Ego Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 Joined 2 years ago but wasn't very active in my first year or so. But now I've got my home system seeding over 1.300 (mostly FLAC) torrents 24/7. It would be a lot more if my 120KB/s upload rate wasn't getting throttled as much. I can advice you to not try and get a high ratio early on. Buffer is nice, but spending it is an investment. To upload more you need to have more torrents or a faster connection. The more you've downloaded and uploaded the more stable your ratio will become. azatoth Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 for me it's near impossible to get any uploads on stuff that is already seeded well, and even if i get something early on it's really rare i can get it to upload so i hit 1.0 ratio. i used to have a good buffer on oink and then it went belly up and then people started to use seedboxes and all the normal users were left standing in the dust.
