springymajig Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 Yeah bronchuseven is your go to guy... if he doesn't reply, my suggestions: I have a book called Practical Origami by Rick Beech which is an excellent beginner's book, and has some moderately advanced stuff in it. It's REALLY varied which is awesome. A quick search isn't getting many results so maybe it's out of print but he might have written a similar book. Try to get her something with modular origami cos I think it's the most fun and rewarding kind. If she's REALLY good, there's a book called Origami for the Connoisseur which I don't have but looks really awesome, and is recommended by a lot of people. It's all really advanced models though. Capsaicin Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 Yeah the actual pyramid things are easy to construct, but I haven't quite figured out where to squeeze the third one into the mix. I assume once you get past that problem then its fairly smooth sailing until the end. I made my pieces pretty wide so there probably isn't enough room to fit six pyramids inside of each other.
