in my childhood years, i was so deep in it, yet completely unaware of it. as i grew older i became keen to the idea but didnt really care, and i kind of liked it. now, i wondering what the fuck is up with that!

i cant even give you a single example because its just so true to almost all albums

the artworks colors, tones, and shapes seep into your imagination as you listen to the music and it all sounds like the way it looks. ya know?

right now im listening to an album in which ive never seen the artwork for, and that is a another whole issue. also the issue of music, that hasnt been released with attached artwork, or released at all

music like that, often has certain colors and shapes too though, and it seems like some artists dont tune into that, and make artwork that isnt what the music sounds like, or clashes with the music. i dont like this, as the aforementioned opinions above state clearly, the artwork will indefinitely influence the way the music unfolds

I remember listening to Hell Hath No Fury for the first time, and imagining the cover to be like a picture of chrome, or snow, or cocaine... something pure and timeless and cool as fuck like the album.

Instead...

I find the more abstract the cover is, the more likely this is to be true. So, something like this-

Definitely. But something like this-

Not so much. Of course, there are exceptions where a straightforward cover does convey the feel of an album well for me.
