Everything has a nice spacey and light feeling and i think the lack of heavy snare hits contributes well to that. Reminds me of my favourite early 90s DnB tracks. I listened to some other stuff on your soundcloud and your beats sound very organic. Beat for coppa plaice....is this some dusty 70's vinyl samplin or original work? Guest Jimbob Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 thanks Alex, I do play drums or I would if I had the money/space for a kit, the majority of the drums on those tracks are from the usual library of funk breaks and solos etc, but edited so as to retain as much of the original swing as possible that beat btw is just a sample from this track that I've cleaned up and quantatised for a friend of mine.
