Guest Pennywise Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Hello, I wonder if any of you can help me with a really annoying problem with my laptop. Basically, It keeps typing and holding the '2' key on its own. I'm pretty sure its nothing to do with the keyboard because it happens every time I start the computer up. (It beeps when windows is starting up). The only way I can stop it is by pressing the '2' key, which may make you think it must be the keyboard. However, why would it happen every time I start the computer? I checked for viruses using avg and Malware and it says it is clean. I don't know much about puters Thanks. If I understand you oorrectly it starts when you start the computer, and it stops once you've pressed (and released) the 2 key once? cloud capture Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 you can probably find easy to follow instructions on how to completely dismantle your laptop into many parts and clean it somewhere on the internet.
