yes, light is the word. light, fluid and agile. i like the pauses too, it gives it air to breathe. nice little one.

Nice, mang. I miss my MC-505. Is that done all in ze MC-505, or was it bounced and mixed in DAW? Things I miss about my MC-505: nice distortion, that psychic hand shit, and generally just being able to sit with a machine on my lap and make choonz without a screen/mouse/etc. I do not miss it crashing, though.

This is actually really cool - and cute! The only thing that stuck out and didn't really seem to fit was the bassline at 0:19 :)

that bass line is in there just once as i found it bothersome after one hint

how do you get that light sound? are you using hpf's on everything? it's not just you, but theres a whole aesthetic of this going on.

 

also, are you using a frequency shifter to get those blurpy dippy sounds? if so, which one?
