Guest The Bro Posted February 12, 2014 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Not bad but I did find it repetative. Drums seems a little in the distance because of the heavy use of reverb if that make sense. I was waiting for them to come more in the fore but that didn't happen. Also no bassline yet but I'm assuming you're going to add that? A different genre, but something like in this classic Bukem track; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKI3eQA0Mwg Here you have the repetition of the bell sounds contrasted with the pads, then near 2.53 prolonged pads are introduced that put the bell-pattern in a new perspective. I like the beat, but I keep expecting the main snare to surprise me in sparse, syncopated placement instead being straightforward.
