  1. Not a game technically, but I have been playing the shit out of this and giggling like a schoolgirl:
  2. No, but a recent gameplay trailer was released: It's like a fucking Giger painting come to life!
  3. Do it and I'll gladly host it here - PM me if you need anything.
  4. Quite the contrary, actually - unless you capture what makes Star Wars well, Star Wars, you risk alienating fans, pissing off Disney for ruining their IP, and become known as "The Director Who Ruined Star Wars" and take the mantle away from Lucas
  5. That goes for the actual new tracks too.... they come and go and comes back again.(call me oldfashioned, but buying a curated release is bit easier) Agreed - it would be nice if there was some sort of news feed or at least an email newsletter generated when new tracks were added/updated (it's 2017 - I think the tech is well-established for this).
  6. Benicio Del Toro's character, "DJ" is a "slicer" (Star Wars equivalent of hacker), and is rumoured to be neutral in the fight between the Resistance and the New Order. Funko's Pop vinyl figure of DJ has "Don't Join" written on his hat in the Star Wars alphabet Aurebesh.
  7. Just finished Ingobernable on Netflix - it's a Mexican political drama about how the Mexican government colludes with the CIA/DEA to further keep its people in the dark (and disappeared).
  8. finally dried off, eh? Never got wet, actually - where we live, we didn't get any flooding - some pooling of water, main exterior roads a bit inundated (but not passable), but came out of it unscathed. Very lucky compared to most.
  9. Everybody's Golf on PS4... it's another Hot Shots Golf, basically. Don't like the new Mii-esque character models. Can't figure out what took them so long to make this game. BUT It's Everybody's Golf, and is fun as hell.
  10. Better, and it certainly evokes the original's style more; the only place I feel they dropped the ball was the "2049" font. At least the new poster keeps it in the same style as the title.
  11. Cilantro on pizza? I dunno... BUT - fresh basil on pizza (after it has come out of the oven, of course) - now THAT enhances any pizza. We put fresh basil on ho-hum Papa John's takeaway pizzas and it elevates them slightly past "fast food trash" to pretty deece.
  12. very true.. but at least this happened: I wanna get a shit ton more stuff up here.
  13. Agreed - certainly better than the new Blade Runner: 2049 poster.
  14. LOL, is that the Atari logo rotated on each side? Royalty payments incoming! There's a huge Atari logo in the trailers a la the Coca Cola thing from the first one, IIRC. This movie looks fucking stupid. I'm reserving judgement, since the original is my favourite movie of all time, but I don't have high expectations for this. It smacks of a nostalgia cash grab (on everyone's part), and I don't like the title, although I bet someone in the marketing department thought that was "retro" enough to appeal to the fans (since that was the du jour back in the 70's and 80's to have a year after your sci-fi title).
  15. Wait - so one person (minus one track) mastered the CD and digital releases, and someone else mastered the vinyl release? It makes sense if one person has more experience mastering for one medium over another, but then that ostensibly means outside of Minipops, there are two "versions" of every track on Syro, and even more confusingly, with the expanded edition of Syro Richard's offering, now some tracks are mastered by Beau, the others by Mandy (since presumably they would use the digital masters from the original CD/digital release Mandy did). I guess they could have used the vinyl mastering as the Bleepstore digital source... I need to go lie down and have a think about this.
  16. Beau Thomas did the mastering on the original Syro release. Do you know if 'end e2' is any different? Listening to it again now and I swear it's clearer, bassier, etc. sounds awesome. He might have had Beau do the mastering on the digital-only tracks - would make sense (and keep consistent with the release).

  18. Beau Thomas did the mastering on the original Syro release.
  19. Well, not counting the Caustic Window LP, the Tuss releases were Richard's last hurrah on Rephlex, and not produced in high quantities. That and they're pretty damn good releases too.
  20. How about you, you know, WATCH it first, eh? Might not be what you're expecting (or EXACTLY what you were expecting).
  21. If you buy the vinyl, you get the digital bonus tracks featured on the site (AFAIK). Of course, you can't buy the vinyl anymore, sooo...
