  1. Looks like somebody found Photoshop!
  2. I think it's a bit more special than simply a digital release...
  3. You forgot Chewbacca and the Porg that sneaked on the Millennium Falcon:
  4. I think you might have gotten a bootleg or the horrible 1972 pressing, which might explain the pixelated cover. See here on Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/Aphex-Twin-Richard-D-James-Album/release/3908906
  5. Allright!:D What,s the second thing though??? Another potential Aphex merch opportunity this Friday in Finland... I don't know either way if there is going to be merch offered at that festival or not. Or, it's just shite? *runs*
  6. Is Studio Ghibli still involved in the sequel as they were in the first game? Picked up Megaman Legacy Collection 2 and Sine Mora EX yesterday - I forgot how sluggish MM 7-8 felt compared to the 8-bit versions. Still, MM8 on PS1 is one of my favourite MM games (cringeworthy voice acting aside). Sine Mora EX is one of my favourite shmups - tough as nails, and an interesting time manipulation mechanic, which makes the whole affair very intense. Visuals on PS4 are even more beautiful than the PS3 version, and owners of the Steam version of Sine Mora get EX for FREE.
  7. now the question is... is "it's all right" > "quite good"? the flahblub No, quite good is reserved for actual good music
  8. I forgot about Shatter - that was a great game! OST from my latest obsession, Nex Machina: Best to go to YouTube for the full playlist; our outdated YouTube embed can't handle playlists it seems...
  9. Anyone looking for a proper, hard as nails twin stick shooter challenge should look no further than Nex Machina. I've been playing since launch, and fuck me, this game forces you to be the best you can otherwise you get nowhere. Really enjoy building back up my skills and reflexes after all this time. Music and visuals are also great too.
  10. I listened - it's alright. Didn't move me one way or another, tbh.
  11. Now, don't get me wrong - there were some badass LEGO Space sets in the 90's my younger self would have killed to have: There's an excellent LEGO set database site here: https://brickset.com/sets I could easily spend an afternoon awash in nostalgia...
  12. I really liked how in the UK the EPs came in two parts... so fun building my collection back then. Loved those mini jewel cases too! I've always liked Ventolin and was mildly obsessed with the video (that Richard hates) for the song.
  13. WHERE,S YOU R GODD AMN GRAMMAR AN D MANERS?
  14. Pfft - OG LEGO Space is where it's at:
  15. I hate to keep dragging this along, but... I think the confusion here arose from the fact nobody knew B1000 was Japanese... hence everyone's distaste at his "Jap" reference. I don't think there is a limit to politeness... at least I hope not.
  16. Still playing lots of Nex Machina... Really getting interested in an upcoming tower defense/shooter game called X-Morph: Defense:
  17. thank you Schlitze. a light joke taken out of context it seems brian T i find it weird you list me as xenophobic, how did you know i have a deep hatred for myself? ha! i guess i didn't get the joke, nor did others it seems. misunderstandings... i didn't list you as xenophobic btw, i said you expressed a xenophobic view, which is different. Is it xenophobic or racist if you are part of the very race you are talking about? I suppose to other Japanese, his comment (which now we know was in jest) they might take offense... or agree! Can we plz talk about the tape, and how I don't have one (yet)?
  18. who cares what afx thinks? this message board contributes to him making money so he's probably thankful in the first place but if he's not, who fucking cares? Well, considering many people are here because of their love for the man's music, don't you think his opinion of how his fans behave should be slightly important to them, especially on a fan forum, where their collective behaviour is a reflection on him? I can say that in the past when WATMM was more "Wild West", many of the artists distanced themselves from here because of the behaviour of the members and the general vibe the place was giving off. Thankfully we've righted the ship, but there's always a few still trying to rock the boat without thinking of the consequences.
  19. Yeah, unfortunately some people feel entitled to something just because they can't get it via normal channels. And we certainly don't condone the racist comments, nor the attacks on people for simply rendering their opinions. I don't want this derail the thread with a sub-discussion, but Consequences is right - we as a community need to behave a bit better, mostly out of respect for one another.
  20. Folks, please: No racist remarks No requests for rips (tape will probably be on AFX Bleepstore eventually) More discussion about the music plz
  21. Because 10" require different moulds, setup times, extra costs, etc. Same reason they charge more for XL sizes at the shops. Common sense, innit.
