I'm guessing that dude with the red beard could. who? Aphex Twiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin It's certainly a very small, exclusive club. I just got an email from The Black Dog about some limited run vinyl release, talk about a bad day to announce, I couldn't even be bothered to read it all.

Amazing, I wonder how many artists can break Bleep like this.

no this is new. interesting I thought we already knew track times etc. Or is it that Bleep updated the page a month in advance the interesting bit? the update is interesting I see what you mean, just checked some of the other pre-release pages, the Jamie Lidell album (that's due in less than 2 weeks) doesn't have a tracklisting up. hmmmm

You're clearly underestimating numerological detail of Ae releases. Release dates, catalogue numbers, album titles etc, there's always some over-the-head bullshit going on. Ae fooling around or doing their Kaballah routine. Maybe I am, but I'll need to see it to believe it. I know album numbers are often referenced in the album title, but usually its surface level stuff like draft 7.30 or untilted (hey, if its untilted its straight. that rhymes with 8!) i just haven't seen enough to say that ae are going really deep in a way that anyone on the outside could recognize or decode. quaristice means something to them, obviously, but they don't seem that interested in us knowing what it means. unless i've missed something. i'm willing to be convinced. Ian Anderson (tDR) in this Facebook thread talks abut the hidden meaning in the Exai artwork... http://www.facebook.com/thedesignersrepublic/posts/390941424326237 I wonder what the hidden meaning of Oversteps circles is?

Shame this album has been delayed, I really like his Observatory and Latitudes releases. I just bought his first album, I was quite shocked at how different it sounds, really dark ambient

Never seen those before but for some reason Prince Moth Mothy Moth Moth ring a bell
-
And that whole album he recorded before he scraped it and did Untrue
-
Yep, far more reasonable now.
-
Well I never. I shall have to try and pick up one of the Moth/Wolf Cub reissues then, the prices are looking much more reasonable on Discogs now.
-
I know The Moth/Wolf Cub was repressed, but I didn't know the Thom Yorke one was?

Ordered, still in stock at Piccadilly Records and Chemical Records in the UK. Boomkat sold out before they can even get one of their 'Something Special" emails out.

17 year old Ae fanboy reporting in. Also: first post, hello. My God, you were born the year Amber was released, I feel old. Hello btw

Surely people that give a shit about music don't use it as their main consumption device? It has it's uses though. I'm afraid I am quite hooked on Spotify, especially since I upgraded so I can use the mobile app. But anything I really like on Spotify goes on my list to buy as CD/vinyls (when funds permit). I use them both to audition stuff. I can totally understand labels not wanting to be on Spotify, it is depressing how little money they make from it.

I believe this is OK as you already "get it"

Some of the best music I own didn't grab me straight away, the opposite is usually true. Obviously anything by the'chre is buy on sight

How I envy you, I think I have heard everything, except for live sets Good day to you Mr Bunkum, Yes it's not a bad thing tbh. I think I have a few eps missing, that's all. I wasn't going to get the ep boxset as Autechre's artwork is too good to miss. I have heard these tracks but sometimes when you are youtubing loads of tracks it doesn't work, and I never realised how good they were. I hear you, youtube can be very good at ruining music.

Hopefully it's just a taster of a whole remix album...

Damn I'm too late, all sold out.

Er, sorry no idea. I ordered from Minus and got an email (with the link) about 30 mins after I signed for it. Not sure how it would work if you got it from somewhere other than Minus. Have you checked all the discs are there? I still haven't received my missing CD12 yet.
-
That's odd; I wonder how many people that happened to.? My copy has CD 11 and 12. Guess I was just unlucky, but a bit weird we are both missing the same disc.
-
Got a reply from M_nus yesterday, hopefully won't take too long to arrive... Thanks for your email. I forwarded your email and address to the manufacturer who will send you the missing CD. Best regards, Nadine
