I actually named the newer tracks as volume 4 on my computer but it wasn't advertised that way on the bandcamp or whatever so I wasn't sure. edit: what year is the neurowanker release pls if you know? edit edit: can you check the way I changed the listing for volumes to see if that's consistent with what you were thinking? the neurowanker jazz recordings i found listed as 2002. also in your opening post you need a year for humming closet, i found that listed as 2003. also music flag needs a year and i found that to be 2003. regarding the volumes release, i think the best way to do it would be to just replace this: Rolando Simmons - Volumes 1-3 (2015) (re-released in lossless format) Rolando Simmons - Volume 4 (2015) (released with volumes 1-3) with this: Rolando Simmons - Volumes (2015) (Volumes 1-4) because they actually may have been lossless already, or at least some of them, sorry and this one needs to be added also: 2014 Trackermatte - Planar Mists

    stephen when you get a chance you add: neurowanker - my famous jazz recordings vol. 1 also, for rolando simmons - volumes you put in parenthesis it's volumes 1-3 plus bonus tracks. i asked mattias and he said he considers those tracks at the end to be volume 4. you could list volumes as 2015 since the files for volumes 1-3 are upgrades to lossless, so the release is an improved version of those, and mattias said volume 4 stuff is 2 years old at the oldest

    yeah the ecstacy phenomenon is abominable. whats that site that matches the pill to its ingredients? i cant find it now but there used to be one where you find the picture on the pill and it gives you the ingredients. all of them were cocktails of shit like coke, meth, and heroin, commonly, plus all the other drugs you can imagine. some had some mdma, many had none. so... organized crime is repackaging their surplus and cheap shit into nice little combo packages, stamping it into pills and distributing it under the veneer of what mdma was in the 90s. people imbibe the grab-bag under the pretense of it being trippy and ravey.

    yeah i just like it too much. i cant stop thinking about it if i have it. unfortunately it becomes its own thing, rather than using it to enhance a thing. i moderate with "break mode" for months. when i pick it up again its good, but when i go back to break mode its good too.

    has richard put out a thousand tracks yet? gotta be around there, if you include the universal indicator red and green albums, the syrobonkers stuff, mike & rich, caustic window, polygon window, bradley strider, gak, power-pill, the analord bonus tracks.

    if he just put out a series of VOD style vinyl box sets of all this tuff that wouldn't happen, collectors would love it. we would all freak out and everyone but the cheap bastards would be happy yeah if it was a limited run box set he could've sold 10000 $200 box sets and put it in a college fund for his kids(I'm sure that's something he's thinking about). I think this just shows how much more "releasable" material (special edition SAW) he probably has from the time that could generate cash(for example this latest track he held out on giving away for some reason). And his ambitions to keep releasing new music. Man, I hate to be the guy offering sobering views here...but as much as love as there is for RDJ, he isn't going to sell 10,000 box sets at $200 each. [/echochamber] I'd be surprised if he hit 2,000. That sort of exclusive/expensive stuff really is reserved for the type of person who would happily sit on a forum all day chatting about the potential release in question. ...and I am in. Where can I pre-order? yeah i was thinking maybe 2000 also. even then, though, whoever is financing it will be wondering what if sales dont get past 1000? if they cost 50 each to manufacture and distribute then selling 500 is breaking even, and after that you still have lingering storage expenses that business model jodey did with edm (and i think aleksi did prior?) where he took the orders before having the stuff manufactured could work.

    if he just put out a series of VOD style vinyl box sets of all this tuff that wouldn't happen, collectors would love it. we would all freak out and everyone but the cheap bastards would be happy but he would have to deal with the 200 item lists of expenses like the syro art that go along with album releases. plus record companies have limits on how much they will put out. for syro they manufactured half a million copies, so thats a big chunk of money warp had to put down up front, then they have to store all those copies... they can't just do that for 100 releases in a year for one artist, can they?

    someone just asked him on sc if he has another 250 songs and richard responded "you dont even know!" i guess with such amounts of songs a sc dump or something similar is necessary. he seems to be keeping warp happy with great releases to sell. it is a very nice thing he is doing for people, allowing them to hear his work. i imagine, even in a perfect world, there is a psychological tax to releasing music. being watched effects one's mind. to elaborate, i think music that one plays to one's self has an edge over music that is played to others. so, richard is sacrificing that psychological element of privacy for us, so we can hear and enjoy. so, not only is it easily categorizable as right, it's also a generous and good thing he is doing for people.

    gotta say i'm impressed with bloodline. its a good character story and exploration of certain interesting aspects of humanity. writing and acting are both compelling, though i could nit-pick about some minor rough edges here and there.
