  1.

my strawberries and rhubarb are gone for the season. Right now i'm picking spinach/romaine/basil daily before it gets too hot and goes to seed. Waiting on tomatoes/peppers/eggplant/squash/melon. My back hurts.

you sound more green fingered than me, i'm just getting into it when/if i have time.

    :soiled high five:

This is my 3rd summer at it. I'm kind of lucky, the rhubarb patch, apple, & pear tree have been there for 100yrs from when my great-gramps came over from Norway and settled. The rhubarb pops up bigger every year, and seems to move around some. The soil is also very rich, so as a beginner I had a lot of good to work with. I'd like to invest in some outdoor speakers. It's crazy how electronic music goes so well with getting ones hands & feet in the dirt. I always seem to accidently rip my earbuds out pulling weeds or something. No bigger pain than trying to get that back in with dirty hands.

  2. That's My Boy - 6.5/10 for the nostalgic soundtrack, some pretty funny moments, vanilla ice plays a big role, todd bridges makes a great cameo. The raunch level of this movie actually surpasses Billy Madison which is a surprise to me because I thought Sandler calmed down once he got all family oriented. Good stuff.

  3. I just scored a man cave / studio room in our building. It's not too big, but plenty big for a little studio space. So pumped. I'm scraping off old plaster, and will be repainting, and installing some bass traps and broadband absorber things in the next few weeks.

Coolest part of it all is this giant 110 year old wardrobe thing, which is like 3 meters tall, and has a roll top front covering. It's just wide enough to fit the larger synths I have. :p Dust proof, lockable, and it's basically a giant multi-tiered keyboard stand. After I find a patchbay, I'll have the perfect setup for this year's daily ambient project. :)

yay! I'll post pics when I can.

sounds like a cool setup, take a pic when it's all setup for jamming.

  4. i lent a friend my mike dred 94k live vinyl and he returned it to me warped. I figured it was impossible to fix without ruining the sound, but I sat the vinyl between heavy dictionaries for months with no results. anyone ever hear of a fix for warped vinyl?

I would gladly pay for a deluxe edition boc 180g, 45rpm quadruple vinyl package that includes something cool like finger puppets or a time machine. those hefty records just feel right.
