Went to see Ad Astra. Visually it was pretty nice but everything else was pretty mehh. I can only watch Brad Pitt quivering so much.

I have been looking for a new show and "Impulse" is actually really awesome. Follows the books / storyline of the movie "Jumper" which was sort of a flop. Really loving this as a TV show though, the actors are better than I thought they'd be, really suspenseful and fun. Helped that they played some El-P in the first or second Episode, good way to get me addicted play some Underground Hip-Hop lol. edit: WOAH. DERU made the soundtrack. Had no fucking clue.

Watched "Tolkien". My new thing is the last 2 hours of work I stream movies on my phone under the desk. Pretty sure people are noticing hahaha. But about the movie. Not horrid, but focused hella-alot on the love story. A bit too much probably- especially with the amount of shit Tolkien went through and stood for. I'm a sap so I didn't mind it. Unfortunately as much as I kind of like that actor, I think he is not great at acting. It was the Han Solo effect. Looks the part and you would expect him to play the role well, but absolutely zero believability or charisma.

I usually go to movies now when I'm hungover as shit. So pretty hard to please and cynical. Actually walked out of the last Avengers because the first hour and a half annoyed the shit out of me. Super fake and forced emotional wah wah shit

Saw Spiderman Far From Home last night. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. I liked the last one with this actor Homecoming I think it was called. The humor in this is forced, I feel like ever since Ragnorok every one of these movies the writers / producers think there has to be slapstick humor every 4 minutes. If it works it works, if it doesn't it's quite annoying and arduous. Other than that the popcorn was great and the icee machine was a fill it up yourself so I think I had 8 large blue icees.
