  1. I literally have about 70 cans worth in my fridge. But I've found three coworkers with whom I can divvy up the surplus. Problem solved.
  2. Me too, but I've somehow been far more concerned with my other problems. Of course, solving this one would solve a bunch of the other ones, or at least would make them easier, and would prevent some others from happening that are surely around the corner if I don't fix this one. Are we at that age now where getting in shape is needed in order to live longer? Secondary FWP: I have far too much beer in my fridge, left over from Friday night's BBQ. No one else could take it with them, so the task of beer-keeper fell to me. Tertiary FWP: I'm feeling increasing burnout from video games in general. The types of games I'd spend the wee hours of the night playing in my mid-twenties, I can't play anymore for more than a half hour without getting bored. I must be ready for something new...
  3. ^ I can relate, big time. It's been a draining week of social obligations for me as well. FWP: Too fat. I've been on a veggie diet for most of the past six months, which has had some effect, but not enough. Occasional depression hits too, and now I'm thinking lack of regular exercise outside of work is at the center of all this.
  4. It's like a shrimp wafer cracker sandwich thingy. Contents include fried egg, "Rice Krispies", mayonnaise (the creamy Japanese kind) and okonomiyaki sauce. Shit was legit. And now I wanna make my own some time. So are you working for a new company Stephen or with the same one still?
  5. ^ Comgrats dawg I devoured eight of these mofos (tamasen) with three or four beers tonight
  6. chronic low self-esteem, yet I somehow maintain social adequacy
  7. (cue new page) I do indeed see the satire in this...especially if you pause @ 0:45, immediately followed by "カント"
  8. Just read those tweets and couldn't imagine what it would've been like to be in his shoes. Sounds like Idiocracy and the Third Reich put together. Clinton and Trump are both bags of shit as far as I'm concerned. Deciding between "the lesser of two evils"...the crook or the blowhard...just doesn't seem like a viable excuse anymore. AFAIK there are still around two million ballots cast by Bernie voters that remain uncounted in Cali. If he gets surreptitiously squeezed out the race, I'm voting Jill Stein again in the general election.
  9. Last NYE I had Mexican bibimbap at a fusion Korean-Mex restaurant. But that place recently changed into some mediocre Chinese restaurant, which is disappointing. But then again by Korean tacos, you mean those romaine lettuce wraps right?
  10. Every time I go to a Korean restaurant I'm often torn between that or japchae. But there's one in town that specializes in soft tofu soup (순두부) that always serves some type of whole deep fried fish on the side. Haven't been to it in ages.

Yes it is. spTh is starting to grow on me too lately. It's one of those Ae trax that didn't immediately hit me but is starting to sink in. Gives you that feeling of walking down a sparsely populated city street at night, or even path in the woods, but that somebody or something could ambush you at any second.
  12. The dentist told me no cavities today, after the standard semiannual checkup/cleaning. I must be doing something right.
  13. correct, and this is why i said it's more to do with the mentality of the community. in the 60s there were television ads for toy guns. can you imagine that happening today, or the amount of warnings that would be included at the end to please certain groups that they're not promoting gun violence? and this is considering that america has been becoming less religious. so if religion and guns were the problem of all the violence, they'd have been more shootings in the 50s and 60s (especially in schools) than today. the same with islamic terrorism since tsa security was almost non existent (starting in the mid 70s) and there were still radical terrorist groups Reminds me...this is gonna sound pretty random, but I recall Autechre's MySpace page posting a link to a graph back in 2007 that showed a trend of actual overall decrease in global terrorism over the last three or four decades. The post was headlined "LOOK AT THIS GRAPH" Of course I don't know where the hell the link itself is.

  15. Sometimes I wonder if simultaneous multi-region secession from the Union is a more viable long-term solution if things continue to go the way they do. More or less like the USSR collapse in 1991. That way we don't have to associate ourselves with Bible Belt beasties if we don't want to.
  16. Keep up on clownin' the Ced Truz guys. Good stuff.
  17. Yeah I'm stoked for DX: Mankind Divided. Apparently there's gonna be some sort of VR hacking mode as well, like the Lawnmower Man first System Shock. And yes, Invisible War was trash. The only redeeming factor was that it was probably one of the very first shooters to feature ragdoll physics, which was impressive from a technical standpoint. But otherwise, fuck that game.
  18. World's ugliest color: http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2016/jun/08/stylewatch-pantone-448c-ugliest-colour-world-opaque-couche-australian-smokers-fashion Pantone 448c sounds like the name of a newly discovered Kepler system planet or radioactive isotope. I distinctly recall from my childhood giving it the designation "Curtis poop brown", so-named after a kid name Curtis who pooed his pants in school when I was six or seven. It also looks similar to the color of Ae's Tri Repetae album cover.
  19. How is it even possible to bum-shag a moth?
  20. Blackout curtains. Pretty common up here, but there's probably somewhere in the Spo you can get 'em too.
  21. My coworkers don't piss me off, but some of our clientele do. I wonder if that's why grey hairs are starting to crop up.
  22. You might be surprised how many self-proclaimed feminists are favoring Sanders over Cli...Clin............Clinton though.
