I'm probably one of the last people to take career advice from, but I remember in my college/uni days we did a 10-minute "free write" exercise at the beginning of each class session for a writing course I was required to take. I guess what I'm trying to say is practice just writing random shit - the first thoughts that come to mind, and regardless how much sense the content makes or how coherent it is is irrelevant. Maybe play some of your favourite choons and consume caffeine to help loosen up without losing motivation at the same time. But again, this is just practice. It's natural to feel anxious, but what you think people's impressions of you aren't always what they actually are. Benefit of the doubt maybe. But there might still be a chance to convince your bosses that you're worthy of promotion.

Finally found an inspiration for a new track. I don't even care about making another album or EP anymore, I'm just happy I have a clear idea for one damn track. Had the music equivalent of writer's block for the longest time...

Anybody else notice a kind of wispy music playing when this particular page opens? WATMM Easter Eggz Mighty No. 9 looks intriguing, since I was way into the Rockman/MegaMan series when I was a kid - the MMX games on SNES especially.

Kind of in the same boat with the job thing. I work with good people and get benefits but otherwise it's rather menial overall. And I've been there nearly a decade. Not sure if I'm really qualified for anything else above flipping burgers though, even with a college degree. At least I made a donation to the Nepal earthquake relief effort two days ago. That alone is more meaningful than my whole job I think.

Work today was bullshit and got stuck for 20 minutes later than I normally leave. But on the way home I thought "this ain't jack shit compared to what Nepal just got hit by." Seriously tho. Good thing I had beer and leftover pizza waiting in the fridge.

People in my borough are up in arms and slinging poo at one another in heated political debate over black bears pillaging rubbish containers in a particular district after our governor asked fish and game authorities to relocate the bears instead of kill them. The people in favor of killing them are calling the opposing side "liberal tree huggers" while the other side in favor of relocation is calling the former "heartless bastards" basically. Personally I think they should all fuck off and leave the bears alone, and not leave our trash out where bears can get to them. Plus this option costs the least amount of money. Humans think we gotta be in charge of everything on Earth. Pfft.

I remember playing GTA IV six years ago, but only for about fifteen or twenty minutes. Had to turn it off because Niko Bellic's cousin wouldn't shut the hell up. Never made it past the beginning.

Listened to Oversteps again today. Last time I did was before Exai came out I think. The only new thing I realized is that Treale as a track name could very well be the words "true" and "real" melded together. Makes sense if that's treale. Ha. Ha. -
