Also just saw a photo posted on FB thru Instagram of two custom donuts - one designed like a bear and another designed like a chicken. When I see stupid kawaii crap posted like that I start to prefer a lead pipe upside my head.

1. Boring posts on FB get a bunch of likes, and I feel obligated to "like" it too, but I give too little of a shit to do so. Either that or I'm a misanthropic cunt. 2. Vanuatu just got hit hard by a hurricane, but I'm too poor to make any substantial contribution. If I were a rich motherfucker, I guarantee I'd donate most of my scratch to charity. I couldn't care less about gold-diggin' hoes looking for sugar daddies. I almost thought you were gonna say something else instead of recording, but disregard.

Sometimes I worry that scammers out there would take advantage of this trend for the sole purpose of syphoning money, then either pull the plug on the game before it's finished or simply leave it unfinished. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Already? Damn you're fast.

HM 2 looks dope, but I never finished the first one. Somehow I'd feel bad moving on to the second one without having finished the first. But it looks like it's getting good reviews so far.

Speaking not for myself here, but rather on behalf of our work cat. In the six and a half years I've known her, today was the first time I'd seen her catch a mouse. Long story short, she came to show everyone her accomplishment and then devoured it whole. I'll save the details.

I'm back on Fallout 3, with mods. Yeah it's aged now but so what. I haven't seen anything new that's really grabbed my attention since last October.

I keep seeing inane anti-marijuana articles being posted by my local newspaper's Facebook page. Whoever's posting them is doing a pathetic job convincing the public that marijuana is bad, given how there's backlash every time. Granted it's very rare I touch it, but it already got legalized here last week. I wish they'd fire the chicken brains who are posting such stupid crap, but then that would go against the doctrine of free speech. Oh well.

I fixed my pickup truck this morning. Long story short, last Saturday the bolt to the idler pulley in the engine broke off, causing the pulley to fall out and drive belt to derail, leading to multiple malfunctions at the same time. I bought a new idler pulley yesterday and installed it in the engine this morning, along with a new drive belt. Now it drives like a champ again. Turns out I have more automotive maintenance skills than previously thought.

My truck began to suddenly malfunction as I was driving home from work on the highway. The battery gauge dropped all the way down at the same time the needle on the temperature gauge shot all the way up, and my power steering failed. It's lucky I was able to drive it home. After some consultation and closer inspection, it looks like I need to replace the drive belt. Hopefully the follow-up post will end up in the FWA/S thread rather than this one.

I'm still on Borderlands 2. I killed Handsome Jack again on True Vault Hunter mode, and decided to go for that Captain Scarlett DLC thing afterwards. The sole resident of Oasis is named Shade. Though not an enemy, he is an annoying cunt and should be kicked in the ball sacks by a mule.

Good old HL2, as much as I hate to say "old" Even when I played it on a low-end desktop right after its release, I was still floored by how amazing it was at the time. Valve seem quieter these days, but I'm sure they haven't folded. I heard a couple of years ago that Left 4 Dead 3 was in the works with a new engine - "Source 2" I believe.

Fuckin' Goliaths in Borderlands 2. Just got to Thousand Cuts when I encountered two Caustic Goliaths and chucked a grenade at them. The explosion launched both their helmets straight up into the air like 50 feet, and then they just stood there vomiting on each other for a full minute, and I lost my shit. Fuck I wish I'd gotten a video recording of it.

Got the internet working again at home after it being out for almost a week. Had to take the old router in to my internet provider and exchanged for a new one, then installed it and called tech support to get it reactivated. It was a pain in the ass getting one of the cables hooked up, and being in a semi-rural area I kept getting disconnected while on the phone with support due to a weak phone signal. But in the end I got the job done.

Man, the more I talk about video games the less interesting of a person I feel like. Well screw it, I'll do it anyway. Back into Borderlands 2, level 39 Siren on the True Vault Hunter playthrough. Still think BL2 is better than The Pre-Sequel was. I'm probably gonna get back into Fallout 3 with mods next, but that might be another month away. I'm itching to see how it works on the Lenovo laptop - four months later it's still kicking ass. Wasteland 2 tho...that's one I've barely scratched. I've played the 1988 original game too, but kept getting my posse wiped out by either mutant critters or ruffians in a club. The second one was described by one critic as "what Fallout 3 would have been, had it not taken the FPS route." Pretty accurate description.

Looking after my coworker's 14-year-old miniature Schnauzer while he's on vacation. But before I could take her outside to go potty, she took a dump and deposited a golden puddle indoors, right in front of me. Plus her breath smells like garbage. I have to be gentle with the old girl tho.
