  1. Re: l d and r, started watching the first episode and it looked like a video game opening sequence ? Started watching the second one and fell asleep . Was watching it with my wife who wasn't into it which I'm sure didn't help ... may flick thru and check some of the ones u listed above . I am a big fincher fan for the most part so want to see what is up with it

lol yeah, i watched some of the first episode and just found myself looking for the "Skip Cutscene" button. probably worth another look at some point tho

  2.

i would definitely welcome another album + alt versions release.

Isn't that basically what AE Live plus a fair bit of elseq and NTS is?

i suppose at this point we're hearing a lot of different tracks that are variations from the same patches/setups. still, not enough clustro casuals.

  3. i would definitely welcome another album + alt versions release. having 2 or 3 different takes of some of your favorite tracks is so sweet. yall got twelve slightly different versions of clustro casual? take my money pls.

  4. current game: slay the spire. verdict, awesome. roguelike card game, no randomly generated dps stats ingame so the level of strategy is phenomonal. ive only played the ironclad so far, reached the act 3 boss but got annihilated.

oh man i've been real hooked on slay the spire too. great game. you're gonna love the other characters. the defect especially, the way that class plays is just brilliant.

  5. cichlisuite sounds so good in the car. this one, envane and ep7 are some of the best driving music there is. especially during rain.

however i don't often listen to nts or elseq in the car because i get so sucked into them that i dissociate and crash into things

  6. Just biking in to say xflood is very seasonal at the moment. My worst haunted house experience wasn't the jump scares or anything like that. It was a tightly arranged maze in complete darkness. It was brief but I felt pure panic rise in my guts as I kept hitting blind alleys. If something like xflood was going full blast in that case, it would be quite the hellscape.

walking around at night listening to NTS 4 is fucking terrifying. 10/10 halloween feels

  7. I've said it before but zombies are done for a good while. the pattern of zombie fic has usually been that there's a surge of inspired and creative works and then a long period of garbage riding that wave which sends the whole genre back into the depths until someone with vision brings it back for a new generation. this current wave started with 28 Days Later way back in 2002 and (imo) ended at The Last of Us (yes yes they're not really zombies) or thereabouts.

    it's time to stop

28 days later is so good.

but this is 100% right. it's been especially overdone in games this decade. slap a z in the title, steal some decaying flesh textures, ..., profit

I have zero complaints about Sharp Objects. Amazing show. wow. Loved the editing, the music, great show, great editing, The "non-linear elements" are short enough not to get annoying. They are very artful and didn't take me out of the plot line. I guess it's just opinion. I hate flash back non linear as much as the rest, but no complaints about this shows working of it

You know, the ending really made me eat my previous words. I still love a good title pun but I have to say that the show ultimately delivered. To be honest, I don't think I've ever been cockteased that hard by a show and I might still be partially annoyed but they definitely finished us off. A lot of subtle shit came to a conclusion and the perfect symbol of it was finally letting "In The Evening" by Led Zeppelin play through. They teased the intro like 4 times and didn't let it play until we get that huge last minute reveal. Game of Sharps did good.

yeah the finale was great, I was expecting an anticlimax but it's a proper conclusion. i thought it was really good overall. great editing and sound for building that kind of horror-movie tension in the most boring and innocuous scenes.
