  1. damn, missed them. Were there any recognizable SC dump tracks outside of the 'cheetah's? i dutifully listened to every sc track, but probably did repeated listens on 50%. i only recognized cheetah3 in the EP snippets
  2. oh oh oh man these sound wonderful. bass bass bass bass! exactly what i hoped for. cheetah3 4eva!
  3. Not going to listen to the samples, that would be cheating. and you're not a cheetah LOL kill me that made me laugh : ) gah they're down now.
  4. cheetah3 teac is the dump track i go back to most regularly. so pumped for this.
  5. brilliant. also pumped for this. i want it to be after nemesis and voyager and the later time line stuff. prequels are so yesterday (booya).
  6. Hold on. Are YOU Richard? I can emphatically state that Redruth is NOT Richard. He's somebody though... Steinvord!? Burial?!? Skrillex? Elvis?!
  7. that would be hillarilol. /gets up to have shower after mowing lawn then spending half an hour composing a couple of posts rather than drinking the coffee and pan chocolat that he got for himself as a reward for mowing, fucking mowing, i should just be able to angrily stare at the blades of grass and they'll meekly stay at the right height. Of course this might take longer than the actual mowing. Perhaps if i construct a large representation of my eyes, to stare at the lawn, this will do the job for me. With the added bonus of freaking my neighbours out. [-; /dleet doesn't muck around when he wastes time, there's always another line leading to another line going on down the line enjoyed this post :)
  8. anyone listening to this as a podcast in iOS podcasts? tried this http://bits.meloncholy.com/mixcloud-rss/ but it didn't seem to work. i entered the mix cloud url, got a url back, and it seems to work on the web site, as in it correctly displayed the most recent episode, but when i put the url into podcast it didn't work. it's possible i'm doing something really stupid and this web tool thingy works well.
  9. Would be great to see more of that type of discussion. Working out melodies/notes in RDJ's music is both interesting and satisfying, I'll have some more to post at the end of the week. was this already posted? http://www.midm-database.co.uk/drukqs.html
  10. I saw this interview before where Richard says he doesn't know how to read or write music. Though it could one of his infamous lies, I don't know how he could write something this complex without having a pretty good understanding of music theory. Unless he truly is from Mars, of course. Can he really make something this beautiful by smashing keys and twiddling knobs? this is awesome. thanks for doing this
  11. it's not a terrible song and a very, very, solid loop, as others have said. might be my fave kanye song, but that's not saying much. he's so much better at being a celebrity than making music. i think it does have a 90s afxy sound but so much hip hop does to me these days. i can't be sure if that's just my bias or real. would love to see someone less deep in our watmm sounds, and more knowledgeable of current hip hop write about this. anyone seen such an article?
  12. i'm going to take this opportunity to say that the fake (right, still fake, right? just made by some rando who never posted here again, that's the latest i think) album cover to syro with the badger and pizza box is still one of my favorite watmm moments and that if i were the praying type, i would pray that it would be featured in RDJ's latest release, whenever that comes.
  13. I have a PhD in biomedical studies. I have worked in molecular biology / basic science for nearly 15 years. Wakefield's studies were mathematically incorrect and retracted. Many many studies have tested the idea that his study claimed to uncover and have found nothing. It's science, so there is never 100% certainty, but on this matter, there is overwhelming evidence compiled by people who think a lot about these problems and work on them, and there is simply no link. Whenever anyone employs an appeal to authority in an argument, alarms should go off, that's the instinct of a careful thinker. But seriously, seriously, there is just no good evidence here.
  14. That guy in the video is setting off all kinds of alarms for me. He's got strawmen (arguing against bans), cherry-picking, and some fundamental misunderstandings of human suffering (hey suicide only hurts the person who choses to kill themself). he desperately wants you to think he's just presenting some graphs, but i'm very skeptical that it's a truly a dispassionate account of the social science. part of my family lives in a very rural setting and they use them for hunting and hobbying. i'm sorta comfortable with guns but just never got into them. now i live in a big city and certainly wouldn't want one on my person or in my home, given the statistics about how they are most likely to be used.
  15. us. also, unfriend that person. this is the worst season. i liked the idea of them defending a town, but it got off to a stupid start with the quarry (the plan was stupid, but i suppose it could be argued that its stupidity was irrelevant because you know, as they were there doing a dry run the zombies broke through so they had to to wing it), the glen nonsense was botched (could have been executed better, this was covered in a previous post), and this midseason finale was just terribly conceived and written ("your dad was an asshole" the carol v aikido guy, the covered in guts magic).
  16. BIG DOG APOCALYPSE 1. https://archive.org/details/BostonDynamicsBigDog 2. http://www.technologyreview.com/news/542616/first-gene-edited-dogs-reported-in-china/
  17. He embedded the list of all the youtube links posted in the track comments I compiled I also made a rich only list of his links here (now in reverse order (newest on top)) 88 tracks by now. thanks for doing this
  18. Same, I love it all but a big pile of Drukqs/Tuss/Analord stuff would be the holy grail. Feel so entitled saying stuff like that.....forgive me Richard D Jebus! Yeah right, I should have also said that I am so thankful that he's sharing all this effing unequaled music with everyone. But among his unmatched output, that era is my favorite, and I can't help myself :). Of course it's entitled/spoiled, but oh well.
  19. it would be a serious bummer for me if this meant we probably aren't going to see much past the RDJ era. i know there are folks on here who adore the older stuff, but the glimpses of drukqs and tuss stuff have been the most exciting tracks for me.
  20. oh man, just saw the youtube link to the vaccine - autism video. did anyone watch the whole thing? i've heard this canard before. what a drag. AFX noooo!!!!!!!!!! i didn't have the heart to look at the rotchschild thing because those things are typically one click away from some venomous anti-semitism. sigh. i suppose i should sack up and look at what my favorite artist is posting. even if this is all an act, it's not a very funny one.
