it's a Fujifilm X100T, I settled on this after doing research. definitely do not regret.

me too!!! are they raw or you photoshop them? cause you know, those high brigthness on blacks, how you do that? post? thanks guise! I have to get up really early in the morning to get to work some days, and it happened to be really foggy yesterday morning. Took it at about 6:50am. I shoot in RAW+JPG, and this was processed in VSCO Cam from the jpg. In my opinion, all photographs are 'processed' in some way, so there's no cheating or shame in using post-processing.

I am jelly. I may end up moving onto an X-T1 or whatever the equivalent will be if and when I find the X100T too limiting. But for now, I am very very happy with this purchase.

hell of a camera recent fuji convert reporting in yeah, I love this camera, it's brilliant. Only thing I could wish for is a physical dial for ISO, but I guess that's what the X-T1 is for, and then you're compromising on the compactness and bloat. I can deal with a function button!

my lack of faith in the project in based on the fact that Season 2 was maligned due to disinterest / preoccupation with other projects from Lynch's side, the fact that the show was cancelled due to declining figures (as Nebraska has very rightly made a point of) and the fact that it's taken so long for this to be resurrected (or not, as the case may be). It feels like a cash-in. And with the fact that Lynch won't come back on board due to money, kinda seems like that is the case. Similarly, this X Files miniseries that is supposed to be happening...it seems like the only reason that got wind in it's sails is due to Twin Peaks supposedly being brought back. Neither series really need a continuation. Sometimes, things are okay left as they are. As an aside, the British series Utopia was a perfect self contained single series run. It was completely self contained, and finished on a great ending. Then they made series 2, and faltered quite badly (imo).

and how's this another point? you're blaming everyone around the directors except the directors himself? you mean that, even if lynch directed the new twin peaks, it would definitely come crap out of it because of times and everyone involved in it?

dude wtf you're comparing lynch with 2 shitty directors.... i mean, tron legacy?? who directed that? and prometheus? 90 years old ridley scott? completely missing the point. I said that, despite the original creative forces being involved in the projects, they were bad. anyway, if you want more Twin Peaks just watch Broadchurch. It's got that Doctor Twat fellow in it.

sorry guise, I know you all have a boner on for more Twin Peaks, but we've seen it time and time again. I'll be the first to admit I was a negative nancy-twat if it happens and it's actually awesome. But TRON Legacy was shite, so was Prometheus. And in both cases the 'original creative forces' were involved, and they still fucked it up.

I think they will, Dave :( because as much of a bad idea it is with Lynch involved, without Lynch involved there will still be droves of people willing to watch.

Is that legit? Because that would inflate the budget significantly for no other reason than romanticism. The quality of digital cameras and the possibilities in treating the image these days is almost limitless compared to film. Jesus, Inland Empire was all shot on Mini-DV, arguably the worst looking format ever! yes it's 'legit', whilst he was remastering Twin Peaks for Bluray he was waxing lyrical about film again.

INLAND EMPIRE (type it correctly, fuckheads) was initially quite jarring, but after I think the second or third watch it still had the angles and decor and stuff. but yeah, the digital format does do it a disservice. Sounds silly, I know, but I think the movie would've looked a lot better on film.

Don't forget that David Lynch has got a massive boner for shooting in film again. Shooting in film isn't exactly cheap... Twin Peaks needs no furtherance.

seriously, this idea needs to die. Twin Peaks ended perfectly, you couldn't ask for a more perfect and fitting end. Look at what happened with Alien / Prometheus. Alien was great. It didn't need a background. Prometheus came along and ruined it.

got my Fujifilm X100T today, but damn I've got a lot to learn. This is the only half-way decent pic. I'm really looking forward to playing around with this, though.

as much as I dislike Apple products, I do concede that they have the best cameras in a phone. and this shot proves that a decent phone camera can certainly replace a point-and-shoot camera. Out of interest, is it just the standard iPhone 6 or the 6+? I've heard that the 6+ has a slightly better camera, and garners even better performance (not that the iPhone 6 is lacking, of course).

getting my new camera in a few days, really excited to get started with it. I'm hoping it won't take me too long to get to grips with it, it'll be my first camera with manual controls.

If there isn't, patent the idea. Imagine, a video card you could carry around like a USB drive... heh checks dimensions of high end video cards* err edit: that would be cool though. I'm surprised they haven't tried to capitalize on modular video game systems. Like having a ps4 but every couple years you could upgrade the video card? I mean, I understand that is what a PC is. Thunderbolt, and USB 3.1 are probably the only interfaces that would have enough bandwidth to handle a half-way decent proper graphics card via a pluggable port. I don't think there are any external boxes you can get. Also, if you're on a Mac, you'd be limited due to driver compatibility :(
