she seems to have experience and great references but nothing suggests she mastered the album, a RT of the onion link is not enough how about the picture posted above?

my confirmation doesnt say that? did you go with fedex postag? maybe standard post is shipped before fedex? I went with fed ex. You're probably right, they ship out standard postage a week early to compensate for the shitty slow times? But fed-ex was cheaper for me by a wide margin for some weird reason... probably because the weight weight is low which is what couriers ship by, whereas the post office uses actual weight. because Royal Mail here in the UK charge a fucking fortune to send stuff overseas now.

Intaglio is the process of screenprinting something so that the ink has a distinct relief against the paper. Like fresh US money, where you can feel the print. that's what it means.

the S5000 and S6000 was alright, I had the S6000 and it was a dream to sample and edit on. But that was essentially a soft-sampler in a rackmount case really...so you may as well go for something like HALion (at least at the time when it was released, anyways). if you're going to go for hardware samplers in this day and age, I would personally only touch one if it were an S950, and even then I would only have that for the 12bit sound and analog filters (the 12bit you can do in software easy, and the analog filter can probably be surpassed by VSTs now too). in any case, sorry....it sounds like I'm majorly ragging on hardware samplers and I don't mean to be! That S2000 just brought back horrible horrible memories!

please accept my apologies for the S2000. I hope you can move on soon! I fucking HATED that thing, 2 line LCD display bollocks.

I was simply very fucking stupid and decided to sell all my hardware gear. Probably one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. I spent quite a bit of money on getting those synths, and they were in damn good condition too. It would break my heart trying to get hold of that stuff again, in similar condition. So I went back to Reason. I started out with soft-synth stuff, then moved into getting proper gear. I'm now moving away from Reason mostly though, I have Reaper and a good selection of VSTs now. I just have some projects in Reason that need finishing really.

that is very cool indeed! I love the fact that they thought enough about it to put the legends on the ins/outs upside down too, so you can tell what the fuck you're plugging in when you're actually plugging stuff in!

what's that thing to the rear of your Apple keyboard? is it an audio interface? it kind of looks like the Propellerhead thing, but I know it isn't

that set up is really nice and clean! with your Analog4, speaking as a previous Machinedrum owner, study the manual. lots. then play with it. lots. Elektron stuff is great, but you definitely need to know the beast in the carnal sense before you can tempt the goodness out.

now we know ET's dupe account. check the tell-tale mousemat

yes it is, it's a Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro 2, using Topre switches and it has PBT keycaps that are dye-sublimated so the legends don't wear off. It was a very expensive board (even moreso since I had to import it to England from the US) but it's worth every single penny. Not only is it a dream to type on due to it's tactility, but the layout is also great. I type fastest on that board than I do on any other. I use a mechanical board at work too, a CODE Keyboard with Cherry MX Clear switches which is still really really nice, but I still much prefer my Topre board at home. keyboads are one of those things, like displays and mice, that people generally don't really invest too much money or thought into. But they should, since those are the input devices that are used for hours and hours on end. Comfort and utility should be first and foremost with these devices, and I make no compromises there. Yes, the shitty membrane keyboards and crappy mice 'do the job', but I prefer something that feels and operates better. If you get a Topre board, and don't like it, don't worry - the resale value is still quite high, you'd only really lose out on postage / import costs of your initial purchase. check out geekhack.org for more info and a twoism-like obsession with keyboards ;)

Osc luv the pain, thus being a Reason user. I'm actually moving away from Reason, and going to Reaper. I just still have projects in Reason that I wanna finish.
