  1. Computer, yes. Ableton Live (still on v. 9) Wow ... impressive. Also: never heard of an Akai VX 600 before ... looks like a *very* cool bit of kit.
  2. Hello everyone, newish mostly lurker here. Here's mine. If you have any questions, ask away :-)
  3. Whoa ... I missed that ... Charging EUR 850 for a Pi in a box with some buttons and a screen is ridiculous.
  4. Right, but M4L does not have a Wasp filter, which is a filter made by making a specific chip do something it was not supposed to do (filter audio). That, and I just really like patching by plugging in cables with my hands instead of with my mouse or track pad. Finally, if all you're after is subtle modulation you're better off using M4L as modular is fairly expensive and every extra source of modulation costs money. I just use mine for analog, which M4L can't do. And for the subtle hiss you get by running electricity through cables. I like hiss.
  5. :-( Pre post Buzzcocks weren't bad either - great ear for fun melodies. Accidentally walked in on one of their reunion concerts once. Very enjoyable. RIP
  6. Cool old school vibe, especially with the slightly risqué sample. Not too sure about the gaps at the beginning ... Or the lack of bass in the kick in the loop at the beginning and during the break, especially when it's followed by such an incredibly bass heavy kick afterwards. But overall: lots of fun, and nice and gritty too.

Stupid indeed. Just the way I like it.
  8. Cool idea (sounds are nice, too). I've been thinking about doing something similar, for running music where I want some steady 180BPM beat and some random noise loops to make it not boring. Id be interested to learn how you implemented this :-)
