Never understood that side of Ae liking a lot of the wild experimental screaming hard rock metal stuff

I think it's really useful to listen to music that's wildly different from the music you're making. Strangely you can still be inspired by it - in ways that aren't externally obvious of course, more just the pathways of the brain forging unexpected connections. Or just as a palate cleanser

  2. Really hoping the next "album" will be another big collection of long jammy tracks. There's so much going on in the live material, I salivate to think how many jams/casuals could be produced just focusing on the different components, just as they did with elseq and the 14/15 sets, and NTS with the 16/18 sets... I want to hear it all!!! :catbed:

there's something evoking a robotic duck I'm enjoying a lot, not its quack but its gait

I am really feeling this in that section that starts at 34:04 with that juicy beat. We all know how great the second half of London B is overall, but that beat is one of my favourite parts, and now I keep thinking of the duck thing lol 🦆  (I'd say there actually is a bit of quack in there too)

bass frequencies below the audible spectrum that we could feel only through our bodies, is that a thing?

I haven't heard the set, but I would believe this. I've noticed more and more very low sub frequencies in their music, mostly in kick drums I guess but yeah, it's all over the other sets too. It's kinda unsettling in a way, and I've suspected that there's an aspect of it I'm missing by having it confined to headphones instead of a big system/good listening space, and that it's meant to be felt.

They do though. Any artwork at all will do this, no matter how minimal it is

it was for many good reasons that will eliminate issues like this and require less hands-on effort on my part to keep the site running.

No offense but so far this does not seem to be the case at all lol

Also still lots of things broken from before. Still no spoilers or bandcamp embeds. Things still missing e.g. standard emojis in pre-migration posts. Those seem like they are probably hands-on issues.

I know life stuff comes up etc and I get that but we're paying to use this site and have been pretty patient already. Choosing to do the migration during a release from one of the two main featured artists was a pretty cringe/head-scratcher move as well. Being here to discuss new releases and share that collective moment is one of the only reasons to be a member of the site in the first place. Just seemed careless/uncaring and a bit of a snub tbh. I imagine Autechre fans all across the internet saw that and took note, and it was probably pretty bad for the site's already dubious reputation.

When life gets in the way, maybe delegate? From what I can see there are at least 2 other "site administrators" and numerous mods (what do they do exactly?) I'd think this would be a priority.

    /my 2 cents
