apparently, AE was not pleased at the leaked soundboard recordings from the Untitled tour. Gl0tch had a long conversation with the live sound guy from the Quaristice tour about why AE was so protective of having aleaked soundboard recording, he claimed that the stuff for the Quaristice tour is meant to be en exclusive special one of a kind experience that couldn't be recreated at home. but the original post Gl0tch made was epic about thsi conversation, ill ask him to repost it. unrelated: strange thing is though around the time Untilted tour/series of shows was being wrapped up (2007 or so) a soundboard recording of a 2001 Autechre show for Confield randomly appeared on soulseek. The timing seemed pecuilar, especially because at the time there seemed to be a huge following for the soundboarded 2005 AE show, almost equal to that of Untilted itself. This 'montreal' confield show recording had remained stashed away for 7 years, but oddly the Montreal recordings i've heard that are not soundboard sound totally different than this. It makes me wonder if AE leaked it themselves, a private in the studio run through of the confield set perahps edit: gl0tch im trying to send you the rar now, you are not answering

gl0tch has learned from the best you can see Gl0tch's fake AE untilted album cover int he newest issue of neural magazine, that did an article on the some of hoaxes we were both involved in.

i did something really dumb last time and bought a promo copy from someone of Quaristice. Probably the only cool thing that came out of doing it is i got to hear the album 2 days before everyone else did and i had a copy of the really long one sheet that came with it. this time i'm going to try very hard to not even listen to leaks

don't get your hopes up too much guys, i remember reading reviews of Draft that also said 'Autechre is back to doing melody, this is reminiscent of tri repeate' which in a way kind of true, but not in the way you would hope.

if only a new up and coming artist who makes good electronic music was crafty enough to take advantage of the nativity and impulsiveness of AE fans to promote their own music through these means

the Oversteps link on the autechre.ws website goes to a non existent bleep webpage for Oversteps. I wouldn't be surprised if they put it up for sale a month early like they did for Quaristice in digital format. i think thats a smart move

im just curious, has everybody here forgotten the prevalence of fakes in regards to a new or upcoming AE album? so far only one other person in this thread seems to agree with me

Well it's a pretty universal symbol... Plus with the brush-strokes I think of it as more like a filled-in enso. that's what it resembled to me when i first saw it but coudln't pin point the specific symbol, thanks for sharing is jay reatard really dead? why do artists i always get in conflict with die so young, maybe the allmighty is telling me something. i hope autechre doesn't die next.
