  1. never heard anything off Ghost box recordings, is this the label that does mostly 'library music' ? i've been interested in checking them out as well as Lego Welt's label (forgot the name) which seems like a similar concept
  2. in california at least the only glass bottles of coca cola available at stores are the mexican imported bottles which actually taste a lot different than other coke because it has no high fructose corn syrup in it. i've heard Costco sells them in bulk but i don't have a membership card. It's probably different in the UK, but i've heard non high fructose versions of Cocacola, Pepsi Dr Pepper are making a come back
  3. some plain madeline's from Peet's coffee
  4. primus was not included in my complaints of 'wigger metal'. primus is hippy prog metal funk
  5. Yeah one thing I can agree with is that Jon Davis' lyrics are that of a whiny crybaby. The guitar work is fucking epic though, not really in terms of technical skill but rather in terms of experimentation. Its funny how my musical taste runs from korn/lb to slipknot to tool, primus, and all the way to autechre and other idm bad taste in metal, good taste in electronic music
  6. ill think of these things the next time i hear wigger metal
  7. while i disagree with the notion that these machines are impeding their music in anyway i do find it strange that they are so fascinated with 2 products that are heavily influenced by the Autechre sound, its a weird feedback loop. Anyone who has extensively used a machinedrum knows these things are built for glitchy IDM specifically the kind that Autechre put on the map in the mid to late 90s. The FM synthesis section on the Monomachine is perfect for those LP5 and Ep7 sequences.
  8. i would love to hear an Autechre album where they remix old material like Tri repeate or Amber. That new promo video they made with alex rutherford sounds like they are making a new song out of little bits from tri repeate and it is quite awesome

  10. i think it was cylob, he's the only dude i know of who is crafty with the myspace and who makes awesome chiptune music. It wasn't :) who was it
  11. whoops i meant Rogue State above, not Rogue Nation here is a decent track on youtube what genre would this be considered? i know its a stupid question but it could be bassline or progressive even
  12. anybody here like Rogue Nation? they are off R8 records out of the UK, very fun mostly 4/4 esque 2step/dubstep stuff . it reminds me of some of the stuff kush arora does but more disco. when i first heard it it sounded like infected mushroom making dub
  13. atop why did you post that twice? anyways great mixes, i love that esikomo my name is mud remix where is that from?
  14. Where I come from, sliced and fried whippet testicle is traditionally the first solid meal a baby has. sounds delicious they have pretty big balls for such a small dog
  15. breed is whippet, he is 8 months old
  16. i think it was cylob, he's the only dude i know of who is crafty with the myspace and who makes awesome chiptune music.
  17. they are all fake, i'll give you a little back story in the only offical Tuss press release it was said by Grant of Rephlex that they found 'Brian Tregaskin' through 'intensive myspace exploration'. or something to that effect. So i very quickly looked on myspace like im sure plenty of other people to did to find out if this brian tregaskin person had an actual page made. I didn't find one so i created one at myspace.com/briantregaskin . I wasn't really prepared to do anything of the same magnitude as the AE hoax so i just started throwing up some improvisations i just finished, they were the closest thing i had that sounded afxy. After a little time passed a bunch more Tuss myspace pages started appearing, the most prolific of which was Tussmusic which had a really awesome logo in the Rephlex green color and font. I think Ludd made this one although impakt and noise could have been involved as well. the other ones i am not so sure, i think Fred mcgriff did one or at least i suspect as the name briantregaksin . here is a great article by a guy trying to get to the bottom of it with very little facts to grasp onto 'Frederick Foxtrott Battles The Tuss Cult' i think i posted this in the aphex twin forum but never in general banter edit: oh and yes teddy oggie first appeared on the myspace/briantregaskin page at the very end of it's existence , it elevated my poorly done hoax to somewhat believable status. If it were just a blank page and the song teddy oggie with no parodies of british people it would have gone off a whole lot more successfully because Teddy oggie is a damn good song.
  18. ever since i saw Damon gettin' pissed on in that one movie about the CIA i have had the hots for him also here's norm's appearance on Conan
  19. fucking excellent cd, this is imo the best dubstep album made to date by anyone.
  20. sounds a little bit too much like flying lotus for my tastes, i preferred his dubstep shit i think i'm done with slow tempo wobble core dubstep, it sounds so cliched to me now. Im getting really into the more up tempo stuff like Falty DL martyn and still loving the shit out of 2562
  21. QUOTE (vasio @ May 23 2009, 01:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's the Rob Liefeld of IDM. so who is the Todd mcfarlane of IDM or what about the Mark millar of idm?
