well whatever theswere is, it heavily samples from a song i made that i only distributed on soulseek called Anterior. I would love to find out who made this, because its damn hilarious to be sampled from. but at the same time its mixed with parts of AE's 2005 live sets, there is no doubt about that. its just im really fucking confused.

ok so far two CD rips have leaked Simmm (not the one played on mary anne hobbs, as evident by lack of whispery hot female voice over top) 320kbps Thesewere (listen to Glasgow AE live set 50:33, confirmed by Fredd-E that it is indeed a trackbased on this section) 192 kbps, fredd-e still has his doubts but i would be willing to bet $1000 this will appear on the LP i am downloading 4 more than could be real, tracks 1,2,5,14 Anterior, Receden, and Untitled (clip) are all fakes made by me that some people seem to be getting confused by. And Plyphon that Azototh posted is also a fake,but possibly the most convincg fake circulationg

ok NEWS the news is i have found someone on soulseek with 2 RIPPED 320kbps perfect quality AE tracks from Quaristice. I have almost finished Simmm (not from the mary anne hobbs leak) and FWZE im hoping to get when this user signs back on. his name is JonLinda and he also has some of the other tracks that have already leaked, but im guessing in better or near perfect quality. for proof go to http://www.recordlabelrecords.org/mirages/...~07%20Simmm.mp3 download Simmm there and check for yourself that it is a cd quality rip. unfortunately the user has been offline for quite a while, but this means that parts of the album are being ripped and leaked on various internet channels. so i recommend we all frantically scour the net and come back here with what we've found!

Booth what? what part of the untitled set im i supposed to be hearing? i dont hear shit honestly and i swear ive listened to 3 versions of the untilted set over 50 times total. The first clip was about minute 27-28 of the Hemsby set. the second clip was about 30-37 or so. And the last clip was like minute 39 of Hemsby. I think. i think it sounds similar but its not the same sections. i think these are all new tracks from what im hearing.

damn track 17 is incredible, for some reason when i heard them on another set of speakers they sounded like ass, i can hear it a lot more clearly now obviously this album had a lot more work put into it than untilted, already after just listening to these 3 songs they have a lot more layers and depth and intricacies than Untilted. The minimalism seems to have been scaled back a little bit, but this stuff is still minimal as fuck.The sound design sounds a little bit higher qual this time around, less reliance on obvious FM Synthesis sounds

am i the only one here who cant make fucking heads or tails out of those clips? they are so mpeg compressed icant hear a fucking thing. I mean yeah i can decipher the tempo and basic beat but thats literally it, everything else sounds like dithered ass

while the fact that he has a prerelease copy is possible, i find it highly unlikely its a watermarked copy. i will seriously eat my shoe if i find proof of watermarking autechre promos.

to my knowledge the most obscure artists to do this for all their promos are Tori Amos and Bjork. Usually the only point to doing watermarks is to put the person who leaks the promo in legal trouble. making them sign a contract and keeping track of which unique water mark went to what reviewer/promoter. i personally doubt Warp has the initiative, means or resources to do something like this. watermarking when describing a piece of music could be something as simple as inserting a 1hz or similarly inaudible sine wave for 1 second at the end of every track. It would of course have to be uniquely done for each individual promo, otherwise they would be unable to be tracked.
