just curious because you didnt respond but how do you go out and see electronic music shows if you havent been to a club in years? do you only go to 'underground' warehouse parties or are just non interested in going to these types of events? and whats wrong with being into generic dark music for the masses?

It's not though. unfortunately its not, however the influence and similarities between the music is unmistakable. its the same ignorance problem most breakbeat fans have when asked if they know who meat beat manifesto or cold cut is.

pretty good so far, very very glitchy ,im only on track 3 but this is a lot crazier and less laid back than anything they've done so far

i did hear about that, but didnt understand exactly what happened. Im not at the level yet as a show organizer or as a label to validate me flying out Mick harris, i wish i was confident enough in my own abilities but im being realistic here. maybe in 2-3 years the labels following will grow larger and a Scorn show will be more feasible. I would love to have him play at a club with an array of 18" subwoofers

man i quite like this! i've got two lull albums by the same guy which are these real low-frequency dark ambient things, and this is sort of like that with a beat and heavy bass! definitely like the atmospherics with this. and the girl in the front row doing a jig as well :) I dunno why but I really love that live footage of him. Everytime I watch it it just so makes me want to be there. haha awesome! i bought a ticket for the Invisible records tour back in like 1998 just to see Scorn play and i sat through a terrible Pigface performance and a nastily bad Sheep on Drugs set just to find out that Mick Harris had just had an emergency flight back to england!!! his child was born that night, and if it was anything less important i would have been pissed!!! If he ever makes his way out to the united states again im definitely going to try and set up a couple of shows

thanks we are doing another one soon that will be a lot more grimey 2-step and experimental less dub based than the last one, releasing date is probably going to be late 2008, maybe even 2009. here is a rough version of a dubstep track im working on now. im still experimenting with a way to combine my own style with dubstep. it took a very long time toying around to even get to this point. i know it probably needs more bass warbles to actual dubstep but they come in later, i just am not ready to mix it down yet. im burning a cd of your mixes for me car, thanks for those.

When i eventually hit 'process' after entering in my CC # it never took me to a page saying 'your order has been processed' or something like that it just immediately took me to a page asking me to entire my login and pass. fuck fuck fuck sorry i think this was a case of crying before hurt. the credit card charge went through on my bank statement FUCK YEAH. this is special time for limited editions of some of my favorite aritsts, im hoping to be able to purchase the new Zoviet France 8" lathe cut limited to 100 copies also i think its pretty common to send a CD version of a vinyl release to a reviewer, unless you know the reviewer personally and commonly reviews stuff on wax. In my experience trying to promote a piece of vinyl by only sending out vinyl copies is a terribly ineffective method.

bass clef is one of my favorite dubstep related artists right now. has anyone here had a chance to hear Lich the Wisp dubstep moniker? its fucking amazing, some very epic dubstep tracks hes made that go places musically ive never heard mos of the dancefloor stuff go. i want to find moire interesting dubstep like this, anyone recommend some more experimental or genre crossover dubstep (no vocals please)
