Actually quite liked Season 5 of the Expanse. I mean, I've liked them all but this felt like a big step up from 3 and 4. Dominique Tipper is great this season, especially from about the mid-point on.
The dude who plays Marco Inaros is too pretty, I dunno. I guess I can buy him as a raging narcissist leading a cult of personality, but he looks like he'd be too focused on his skincare routine to cause a solar system of trouble?

I got mine on the 20th (in California), so it seems possible that it was shipped out from the US -- despite charging for int'l shipping (unlike with SIGN, which clearly domestic shipping and was charged as such). Not really complaining, but it's a bit weird.
Either way, these both got here in a timely manner, which is rare for Bleep IME unless coming from US distro.

And it works. Once you get Live Lite authorized on your Ableton account the cost of upgrading to Suite is $519 USD as opposed to the $599 at the 20% off pricing.
Thanks again for suggesting this, I didn't realize that Lite would count towards a discount.

I’ve got the Clarett 4pre (so USB C rather than Thunderbolt) and if the 8pre is even a tiny upgrade I think you’d be happy. If you need more IO then you need more IO, but I’m pretty impressed so far (coming from some relatively ancient Apogee gear).
The other stuff is probably a better value but I don’t think the Clarett range is overpriced for the quality level, either. I think it’s meant to be cross-shopped with the really pricey Apogee/UA/whatever gear. YMMV of course.
