  1. The Rules for Everything 9/10

This was so fucking great, and very (darkly) funny (to me at least, the intellectual art house crowd in the cinema took everything at face value, I was the only one giggling to myself, I bet they thought I was a lowly moron. The joke's on them innit).

Oh wow, Kim made a movie!

  2.

usual british drama isn't very good

thing about British tv is that its been doing it better & longer than most, you just have to know where to look & thats no cultural supremacist snob bs

classic examples of drama and comedy?

the early docufictional works by Ken Russell - the Vaughn-Williams fest and the Delius inspired 'Song of Summer', incredible imagery throughout

the ultra-mega squeamish delights of the Robert Graves adaptation of 'I Claudius' (John Hurt in the role of a lifetime as Caligula) is 1 of the best series ever broadcast

Dennis Potter's 'The Singing Detective' w/Michael Gambon + 'Pennies From Heaven' w/Bob Hoskins rrrrrrrrock

two docufictional works also deserve honourable mentions - 'Culloden' by Peter Watkins & 'Winstanley' by 'Kevin Brownlow, immense innovative story-telling for their time

even found time to watch all the Blackadders & Young Ones while recuperating from surgical operations not too long ago & fuck me they're still funny as when 1st viewed 30+years ago

add Brass Eye, The Day Today, various Alan Partridge gear, the League of Gentleman, Nighty Night, The Thick Of It, Hunderby, Psychobitches & most recently Camping (<----the funniest thing witnessed in eons)

btw, more than happy to evangelize about Camping every so often cos it was subscription-channel based & difficult to find via alternative means, more than happy to dropbox the 6 x 30mins episodes if any1 is arsed

missed loads, just dont take Sherlock, Luther & Downton as the usual bollix

Camping sounds interesting! Hook me up when you get a mo please.

  3. My view on the elseq poster is that it's the same as the limited edition Syro glass and metal thing - an expensive TDR product that is only vaguely related to the musicians themselves and therefore not worth the price except for potential resale value.

This is a fair point. My wallet thanks you.

  4. doesn't seem that expensive for the basic albums. $12 for the New Backwards Cd or $20 for teh vinyl. Surprisingly a cheap option for once.

Its a $92 total price tag inclusive of the cheapest shipping offer ($36) to Asia for both albums on black vinyl. Apparently, 'the Ape vinyl is VERY heavy due to the tip on jackets, double LP and inner sleeves'. I happily paid but it stung momentarily!

  5.

    pendulu hv moda

    M A S S I V E

    supergood.

also this needs to be repeated:

pendula hv moda makes me feel like I am in aruba on the one side of the island that is just cliffs and stuff. great view, scenery etc. I am with some woman who just got me really baked. she is stunning. I am driving an suv . we get out to take it all in. I slam the door and just keep slamming it cuz the seatbelt is in the way. just keep slamming the door.

please review the entire release saltykraut.
