Just started watching The Tick which started up on Amazon Prime.
Actually not too bad for what it is. Used to be a fan of the cartoon back in the day.

Yeah i got about halfway through, and aside from the cringy Lynch impersonations I could follow everything he was saying and nodded along at most bits (so far)
Interested to see how he manages to string this out for another 2.5 hours though

enjoyed this explanation. ridiculously long and the way he tries to read Lynch quotes in character is annoying as f*ck, but great insight makes up!
oh wow, there goes my early night off to bed

But students can vote? Its hardly an excuse.
As a student you either stay where you are and vote, or go home and vote. Or get a postal vote.
Its hardly rocket science. If you are at university I'm pretty sure you have the brain capacity to figure it out.

I've got a feeling we're going to see Boris revoke Article 50. I know that sounds mad.
That's preposterous slanderous talk!
But yes, probably just as likely as any other outcome right now.
Interestingly, I heard an interview with a Lib Dem MP this morning (didn't catch her name, not Swinson) that the policy is now to press for a people's vote if they get a majority in a general election, rather than straight up revoking Article 50.A softening / changing of stance to whip up more votes me thinks.

Brexit now delayed until 31 January. I can't believe I actually thought it was going to happen last March.

How about a moat around the entire parliament building and declare it as an independent state?

A live recording of a sound installation I was involved with making for this years Supernormal Festival.
I made some steel letters that were hung from a frame and amplified / processed. They "jangled" in the wind but we also played them with sticks and threw stones at them.

Drone weirdness

That Spectrum book I linked earlier...wow, super good. Tons of recommendations and interesting releases to check out just from the very first pages alone. Also, super impressed with his Noise Receptor blog, which I've heard mentioned but never looked deeper into it. Worth to check out:

Some
hard covertrad. zines available too for people who like to scroll: https://noisereceptor.bigcartel.com/A noise industrial gem from early Malignant Records days:
Haha, third post in a row, hopefully someone reads these....
The Spectrum book is indeed a goldmine, I dip into it every now and then. Such a beast to pick and up just read though.
I also get the Noise Receptor journals, as well as Special Interests (https://special-interests.net/main/special-interests-11-zine-out-now/)

Just discovered The Swamp Thing TV series starting soon in USA, no UK release date yet though.
This is now on Amazon prime in the UK. Watched 5 hungover episodes today, enjoyed it. Sucks they cancelled it already.
Had to fiddle with my screen contrast to figure out what was going on though, especially in first 2 episodes

^ Well thats a comprehensive boxed set! Don't have £300 laying around the pay for it though.
In other news, I have been enjoying:-
The Vomit Arsonist - Nihil Dicit - https://deathbedtapes.com/album/nihil-dicit
Which is an effective blend of industrial / noise / PE sounds, dark and grim and unrelenting.

Ok So I have only a couple of copies of issues 5 and 6 left.
I just added reprints of issues 1,2 and 3 to my web store. Limited! So get in soon if you want one. I will not reprint again.
