My 3-year-old says he likes 1st 44. But he'll get down on most music. We danced together to Elephant Song

my 3 year old lad loves Rewind by Cylob

Actually started planning an NTS Sessions DJ mix last night. If I end up happy with it, I will stick it on Mixcloud.
Ideally need a third turntable so I can keep All End playing in the background for the whole hour.....

Struggling to think about how Aphex or Ae could compare to “dad rock” just cause kids aren’t listening...WARP ain't selling like in 1998, kids these days don't give a fuck about IDM.
We're all pretty much now listening to dad-rock version of electronic music.
Finland's biggest newspaper actually referred to Aphex Twin as "beer belly techno" because it's mostly listened to by 30-50 year old males with dad bods..
Finland can suck my man boobs

lol
Although a bunch of billboard posters, however expensive, is probably still cheaper than getting a permit to fly a blimp over London

Maybe the sales for Cheetah and CCAIpt2 were disappointing
-
^That is pretty cool.
Advertising budget for this EP has gone mental.
Do you think they are perhaps going for Top 40 chart on this one....

Good sample track. Probably not a "club" album which is reserved for his 12" releases. I hope to enjoy this - Flatland was a bit.. erm... Flat (as already said I believe, but true)

Edit edit. I'm bailing this is too boring. Sorry

Didn't Richard invent dubstep in 1992?

I listened to the 96kbps rip from my phone which was left inside a phone box about 100m away on then other side of a dual carriageway. I had to bass boost the eq a bit.
Only then were the reverb trails acceptable.

Thx Blerp
Wait;
Are there 2 versions of the cassette as well?

Watched the pilot for Preacher last night and quite enjoyed it. Used to read the comic when I was a young'un.
Problem is my Amazon Prime expires next month and I wasn't going to renew it... now I have 3 series of this to watch in a couple of weeks. FML

...abundance... is my boss track at present, those vocal snippits sit perfectly in the mix.
So it seems Collapse EP and the Field Day LP are my favourite Aphex releases since The Tuss.

This is STR0NG

^Just saw that, great stuff
Shortly going to listen to all 6 tracks for the first time....
[edit, although I have heard collapse twice. Once on radio, once watched the video]

If anyone gets their CD early, could you help a brother out? I'm leaving for Italy for a week this late afternoon and won't be able to go on the internets there, would love to play lossless abundance to the hippies in the mountains
Nice try, buster

Watching BBCs Bodyguard
Standard BBC high cost production trash.
Even has an actor from 'The Thick of It' in it...the lines of satire, drama and farce being blurred beyond meaning.
Watching this too, this is the sort of thing me and the missus can sort of agree to watch (which is rare)
Fairly watchable trash and probably good that it is only a 6 part series

I know the vinyls rips are such a disappointment. First too loud, then way too quiet... I've just stopped listening entirely
first world problems
-
Holy shit session 2 is opening up to me even more through the gift of vinyls.
Gonk Tuf Hi is just ridiculously funky and there is so much going on.
Also full appreciation for Six of Eight (midst).
Glad I didn't rinse the .wav files on this one

Question for people who bought the tape.
Will you actually ever listen to it?
