Not many copies of issue#4 left if anybody still wants one.....
Issue#5 is on the horizon.
Was hoping to have it ready by now, but life has been a bit shitty so it will be done when it is done. Very happy with the content though, which includes:-
- Interview with industrial band "Non Bio"
- A comprehensive review of Houghton Festival
- An interview with Jay of the Buzzing Minds project
- LoveLove Records
- Short Songs!
- Nostalgia
- Vishscale: Industrial Techno
- Can you Phil Me In?
- Photos and collage art
- Music reviews
- All the usual claptrap features
Order link going live soon
Cheers

So wait,
Is Z-nation an exact rip off of TWD? Has anybody here ever watched it?
I saw a short trailer thing as an advert on instagram and it basically made out that "walkers" (same terminology as TWD) can now talk.
Also, TWD will also be doing that with the whisperers making an appearance this series.

ok awesome, he needs to update this page then or get rid of some loose pages from his website ==> http://www.legowelt.org/cyberzine.htm

Shame his "Cyberzine" never carried on, the last issue was 2016

There was some fun content in those, but must have taken a while to compile...

Ketamine is the weirdest th8ng I ever took. Geometrical lights is a great description.
I had something at a festival once and I wonder now if it was K. Circular patters phasing in and out, growing in size and shape, different colours.. even when I closed my eyes.
Couldn't find my tent, couldn't sleep, paranoia, shitstorm!
Didn't wake up in Leeds though, was still at the festival. Happy days.
Yeah... it was not fun.

Nice. Good effort Mr Lorn

I'm, sadly, pretty underwhelmed by this. It 'sounds' great, of course, but I'm not getting much emotion or attitude from it, especially given that this is Lorn and that's really his strengths, imo. Maybe my expectations are clouding things, but I've listened two or three times now and couldn't even finish once, just got bored with it. Not damning it but just not feeling it right now. Loved the maze to nowhere stuff, this feels like that but without any direction or emotion behind it? Will keep trying though, this is Lorn, he's great...i'm just worried stuff like this of his is too concerned with sound design details and lacks some heart....maybe it's just me...i'll shut up now lol
its not even 40 minutes long, and some of the stronger material is at the end. You should try and sit it through, for Lorn's sake

Quite enjoyed the bodyguard.
Six episodes was enough, hope they don't mess it up by making another series.

This album even sounds great through my shitty kitchen radio that I put on when washing up.

What's with the <> ?
Slight in joke because I used a feedback loop in the making of the track.
Sorry / not sorry

Have been listening to KJOSTAD which is the guy who runs the New Forces label.
Such lush field recordings which are thrown headlong into some noise worlds.

As such, his latest release "environment-electronics" is exactly that.

Like this at 11:52 plus ... but it is what it is . What are you planning on adding to the signal path next ?
My latest efforts have more added now that I have expanded my setup slightly and got to grips with the equipment more. Thanks for the <feedback>

this is cool but the noise stuff that i tend to gravitate to is usually noisy and anarchic but also very deliberate in layering and spacing. you should check out work/ death, who does this very well.
I did check this out - thanks! Wince is also very anarchic but has subtle things layered in the depths that are cool when you pick them out...
This is my latest creation, it was originally one long session but I split it roughly into 4 chunks. I will also EQ it a bit after a few more listens, some parts are a bit too bass heavy but that was part of the live process distortion effects so in the spirit of noise I might just leave it....

That Mark N vinyl mix is cool

watched ep1 last night, not sure if Unlike the humour / drama blend. Felt like the show was having an identity crisis.
