I just god through the original Watchmen comics and good lord was it good !!! I liked the contrast between the classical "comic" graphism and the dark story/atmosphere. It really was excellent - wonder if the movie is worth watching ? By the way do you know about any comics that are as good as this one ? If yes please let me know. Cheers !
  4. I just discovered the Japanese bonus track of Geogaddi ("From One Source All Things Depend") and the album only got better !!! It's really marvelous.
  5. Plus it's perfect with all that snow outside (pretty rare outta here)...Hmm !
  6. This. The sleeve looks so amateurish it hurts. But I guess it's all about the music, not the context of it. Speaking of which, the album really grew on me. On my first listen I was like "Hmm this is overall good. Not all the tracks are great and some sound like the Tuss but anyway... " 2nd listen : "Yeah fuck it, sounds like RDJ gave him 2 synths plus a drum machine, it's not that interesting ." 3rd listen : "Wait a minute ". 4th : "Hey they're some great ideas in there ! Me likey ! " 5th : "WOOHOOOWHWOOHWOWOWHOHWOW !!!!! :music: :music: "
  7. Wow at first I read "coolville is 30sec, sup" I guess my mourning isn't over yet
  8. Guys, it took me a long time, but I finally fell in love with Tri Repetae, one year after buying the CD. Hearing C/Pach in the Gescom Disengage set helped me giving this album a new, fresh listen, and oh God I wasn't disappointed. I put my headphones on (which have the power to help me discover hidden, underlaying sounds in almost every Ae track - even the ones I thought I knew by heart), and I was in for a treat. The long songs I found annoying back in the days (Rotar, Stud, Overand, Rsdio) are in fact everything but annoying. They stand among the most subtle songs I've ever heard. The one that I already liked (Dael, Clipper, Eutow) reached another level, way higher. To cut a long story short, what I thought being one of their weakest releases revealed itself as being one of their strongest body of work. I knew you would understand that feeling. Thanks.
  9. I'm discovering Drexciya...Wonder why I waited so long before I started my journey through their discography !!! It's amazing. That track especially is currently changing my life I'm going to get that "journey of the deep sea dweller" reissue.

Easily my favorite Ae release as well, those four tracks going through so much emotions could work as an album, with this underlaying concept giving it an immense cohesion...I needed more time to appreciate and love Latent and Laughing quarter but now this EP is 100% pure sexiness. Plus Draun Quarter almost brings me to tear everytime I listen to it, its ending is so beautifully crafted...Yeah. 11/10.
