What did you GAS a bit over and it ended up amazing? I've been wishing to learn Max for 2 decades, dreaded the learning curve and now that I've dived in (with v8.3) I'm astounded by its ergonomics and pedagogical value. Not to mention the possibilities. Needless to say though that I know now exactly what I want to do with it (a algorithmic / generative sequencer), which obviously makes a world of difference.
What did you GAS hard over and it ended up a major disappointment? Each and every hardware synths I've bought, without any exception. I'm a software guy.
What do you regret selling? Nothing I guess.

Started watching For All Mankind - slow burn but good characters and an interesting storyline so far (4 episodes into the first season).
Finished S02 yesterday night. One of the very best shows I've watched the last few years, incredible grower.

100% PureData with 100% custom built... everything (from sequencers to sound generators and processors) . Depending on the project either full raw generative (Computer Series), curated generative (Violynt Tropiqs) or a mix of algorithmic / generative / more traditional workflows (hArm0nii tandD3m). Beating the Odds was first generated algorithmically then heavily edited IIRC.
Absolutely fascinating and diverse creative process, and outstandingly musical result. I hope we'll get to release countless Synalegg records via 3OP, and that I'll be lucky enough to master whatever he asks me to (his mixdowns sound fantastic already, pure bliss to engineer these).
If you haven't already, I urge you to listen to CS, VT and ht as a whole, it's a marvelous ride.

I'll give it a try, I've yet to find a good comedy on Apple TV (I like Loot as I love Maya Rudolph, but still). Haven't watched Ted Lasso yet though. The service's totally worth it for Severance, For all mankind and Foundation IMO.

I second Homecoming for you @yekker
That first season is fantastic. Can't wait for a new Sam Esmail series.

Just binged all three seasons of "The Leftovers".
Holy fugg that show was depressing. Of course i watched it during a low point in my own personal life so it made me feel even shittier lolol. Not a bad show i'd recommend it to any fans of sci-fi or Lost - just get ready to feel overcome with sadness and emptiness for a while.
It can be brutal at times (especially the first season, from memory) but it's a fav of mine. Still, I don't know when I'll watch it again (it's been years).

Gorgeous new track indeed.

Ps: prints are actually pretty true to the picture in the first post (not blueish like the scan above, mea culpa).

If you're on a Mac, rather than Soundflower, I'd suggest giving Blackhole a try https://existential.audio/blackhole/
No Windows version yet.

Beauty. A tad different from the other 3OP releases (maybe ?) but still perfectly aligned with all the gorgeous music we've been so lucky to release so far.
The SC teaser is erm... a teaser really, as most of the pieces need more than 90 seconds to unfold.

I'd advise having your go-to's on your OS drive, and moving sample banks around depending on the projects you're working on. And to use the "Collect and Save" option once you're done working own your tune(s).
Basically what @mcbpete said.

Bought instantly, obviously. Can't wait to blast it on my monitors, Synalegg's hands down one of my very favorite electronic musician around.

Have you tried writing directly to Michael ? Rather than doing it for you, I'm sure he'd give you insight to port it yourself.

VCV Rack can be great if you select a handful of modules. I bought Rack 2 for the MI and Instruo modules alone. Otherwise it's easy to be lost / overwhelmed by the countless options.
WRT Bazille, which is certainly my most used synth, I love the Gearporn UI.

Zebralette 3 might happen this summer though. Everything Urs has shared so far (like, that new 1000+ partials "sine based" render engine) about Z3 tech looks stellar.

I beta test for various developers so I might be super biased. I've also bought way too many. Are we discussing soft synths or FX ?
re:Vital: it slays Serum (which sounds so freaking bad, always metallic whatever you do with it). Hive 2's still my fav wavetable based synth around.
I agree with the everything u-he statement, their synths are heads and shoulders above the competition IMO, in terms of sonics, ergonomics and ethics. Can't wait for Zebra 3.

While I 100% agree with the post above, I still prefer the EPs to the LP.

Watched The shrink next door. Will Ferrel definitely knows how to act, impressively subtle. Not an easy watch though, fascinating story but equally sad and cringey.

Lovely mixer you’re selling, somehow similar to the small Studer / Revox I’ve always drooled for.
Quality ADC + a selection of great outboard seems the wisest choice indeed.
I’m an ITB guy, but I’d happily make room for a Synthi hehe. The raw tone is sublime.

I hope she's teamed with Jam City again for that new record. I love Hallucinogen and LMK, so of course I'm thrilled she's sharing tunes again.
